I've been thinking about your question for several days and the only thing I realized - it's gonna be a non-fiction book. I mean I love fiction books, but I can't remember the one that touched me SO MUCH. No, fiction book are good for escaping from the reality, once, maybe twice.
So, I've got two options.
1. 'Moab Is My Washpot' by Stephen Fry. The amazing story from an amazing man.
2. 'I am Ozzy' by Ozzy Osbourne. Crazy man in a crazy world.
These books have everything - they're real, funny and sad, kinda philosophic and have a lot of things to think about. They're about real choises, real deeds and feelings, and it's really interesing and... enlightening maybe to read such books. -

Well, it's a serious question. I'd prefer vampires. Zombies are quite weird creatures, you don't know how to get rid of them. Meanwhile there're a lot of theories about how to kill a vampire. And it's not gonna eat your brain, it'll just drink you to death =D And maybe this exact vampire has a castle...

Cruel Fors asked question in english, so I'm supposed to answer it in english as well. Challenge accepted. =D
To be honest, I have so many unread books, wich I sincerely want to read, so sometimes I just pick up the nearest one. Usually it goes like this: morning, I need to be ready to leave the house, but I'm still in my pyjamas chosing a new book to read. 'Hmm, oh, that one, I wanna read it, yeah... but not today, no... Oh maybe this one! It's cool, I know it... naahh... OHHHH THIS THIS THIS, but I'll take that.' I'm a mess reader.
And I always have I-will-read-it-right-after-the-one-I-read-now book, don't you have it either? =) It changes for a couple dozen times, coz I do read veeeryyy slow, I'm ashamed how slow I am, but can't help myself.
And sometimes I just reeaally want to read something exactly, so I find it and read it. )) -
I guess bathroom is the only place in my flat where I can be alone.

Мне тоже печально себя читать, траст ми. И английский мой неплох только при йандекс-словаре и гугло-переводчике ХД А так - полный фэйл, ибо никакущей практики.
А недооцениваю... Сложно как-то оценивать себя, когда никто вокруг ничего и не ждет. И, возможно, не ждет именно потому, что я сама в себя не верю. А не могу верить, если они не верят. Это замкнутый круг, фак май лайф. Ну и... Инсэпшн опять же. Для огромных комплексов вполне достаточно какой-то мелкой-мелкой мысли, которую эдак пятилетней мне и подкидывали. Ну и прочая хня, которая выросла в меня вот такую. Все ж оттуда, все в детстве уже вложилось. -
