Large one. I absolutely loved working at a small company and learned a lot, but I love being part of a large organization, contributing to complex operations while becoming an expert in my segment. :)

I would have to say BCBG Max Azria. It is a versatile brand that offers high quality clothing and accessories for a variety of moods and events. I own a lot from the middle BCBGeneration and the BCBG Max Azria segments, and I love my few runway items.

well i walk about 3 miles a day at work alone, so i definitely count that! :) we also get free fruit at work, so i always get a snack to eat on my walk to the next meeting. if i get hungry at night, i always drink a glass of water and then wait 30 minutes in case to see if i was really hungry or if i was just dehydrated...other than that, i love random sports and group classes, but still am working on making those part of my regular routing. I recently tried capoeria and it was SUPER fun and effective!

i think a classic, because they keep coming back...but i haven't worn them since i was 7ish, so it's fun to rediscover the simple comfort! :)

If you can wear it, go for it I say! My sisters wear jeggings and they look incredible; I personally don't wear them or own any. I will either wear leggings or jeans.

I don't like the term jeggings, but that's neither here nor there. The fact that so many jeggings still have crotch fasten buttons bothers me, because I thought the whole point of leggings is that they are SEAMLESS. Random details like that and the fact that either jeans or leggings fit my style well separately are the main reasons I've never felt the need to shell out money for this item.

Cargo pants I don't like; I prefer a fitted pant. Now if you're saying there are cargo leggings or cargo jeggings, please send a link! That is just going too far. Cargo pants are supposed to be roomy and comfortable, so combining that with its antithesis just seems silly to me.

I'm so glad you like my blog!
However, I don't have a true online boutique--I have an eBay account and then I have partner boutiques through Google and Revolve; nothing where I can link through individual sales submissions at this time. Sorry to disappoint!
Thank you so much for the link though; if I have any friends looking for more modern architectural jewelry I will send them to your site! Hope that helps!

I think treasured items change with time; mine are mostly tied to memories or special occasions.

One I can think of in particular is a silk black long sleeve knee length dress that I own. It's a simple piece with embroidery, modeled after a Vietnamese Ao Dai (the traditional national costume).

On one of my first dates with my husband, I tried on the dress in a tiny boutique in Florence. The look on his face when I stepped out of the fitting room immediately sold me on the simple LBD. It also helps that it really is an amazing flattering dress that is easy on care. Every time I pull it out of my closet, I go back to that moment many years ago.

I have items that I treasure because they're amazing basics ($50 Cavalli jeans I found in a Vegas sale) or instantly improve my mood (my Steve Madden Clovurr boots), but I think that dress is something I would hate to lose or ruin desperately.

      Splurges & Steals...great question!

Biggest splurge: this one is easy...I spent somewhere around $800 pretax on my Christian Louboutin Very Noued Slingbacks, red satin. I bought them for my wedding and I absolutely love them. I have worn them since for special events and dates with my husband, mostly because the red satin is so distinctive that they're not really everyday shoes. Two years later, they black ones are finally on sale for $385 at Neiman's. I remember the week after my wedding, they were the cover shoe on the new issue of Brides Magazine. Most of the designer shoes I end up with are bought at steal prices or gained in trade with my sisters, which saves money.

Biggest steal: I feel proud that I have had a lot of these. When you love beautiful things and then decide to quit your awesome job to go to grad school, inevitably you must learn to find good deals. By price: Magaschoni shrug/wrap for around $15 in a Tootsie's tent sale that I keep handy at work and school. By percentage of original value saved: my Stella McCartney Wooden Wedge Pumps in red. They were about $1400 at Barneys and I found a girl who bought the wrong size who sold them to me for 10% of value, brand new, with box and in dustbag! Absolutely ridiculous and fabulous. Most current steal: Bill Blass giant crocodile green leather bag (fits my laptop!) for $40 using HauteLook!

      Oooh, what a fun question!
I don't know that I have a lot of health must-haves. Mostly just taking my vitamins; I take calcium & vitamin D. I try to work out (I'm on the every 3 days schedule 'cause I hate working out)...I drink a glass of water if I get a snack craving after 11 p.m. to try to put it off...that's as health conscious as I get I think

Beauty must-haves (defining must-have as I'll probably refuse to leave the house without these items on my face):
Eyeliner: If I don't wear any other makeup, I'll probably swipe on some eyeliner. I love L'Oreal's extra-intense liquid pencil eyeliner, because it works like a pencil but has the depth and color of a liquid eyeliner ($8 Target).
Chapstick: I live in the desert and I have super dry lips, so I use Aveeno or Burt's Bees chapstick a LOT ($3 Target).
Aveeno Face Cleansing Pads: I wear makeup, I'm at school all day long (there are days I get out of class at 9:30 PM), and I don't want to spend 30 minutes getting everything off my face before I can relax with my husband. These wipes have two sides, scrubby and soft, to clean my face and get off makeup ($15 Target)
Mascara: I am a mascara junkie. I don't need it, but I love trying different brands. I've been blessed with decently long lashes but would love some volume. My favorites are Sephora's brand ($15 one swipe = volume), Clinique's high impact ($14, no clumps and good volume), CoverGirl LashBlast ($7 CHEAP, no guilt when traveling), Cargo TexasLash ($20, HUGE lashes, good smell), Maybelline vibrating mascara ($10, LONG LONG lashes)
Moisturizer: Living in the desert this is a necessity; I like Clinique's dramatically different gel ($24) for the lightweight feeling.

Beauty wants (not must-haves, but I love makeup):
Lorac eye primer: I rub my eyes and have oily lids, so my eyeshadow never stays on all day. A tiny dab of this primer actually means my eyeshadow looks the same at the end of the day as it does at the beginning, amazingly bright
Bare Minerals eyeshadow: I like their bold colors for the price point, especially because at Nordstrom you can buy 3 and get 1 free ($13 each)...also like Make Up for Ever ($19)
Bobbi Brown Blush ($22): One swipe of this stuff is incredible...definitely makes a huge difference in your complexion. I bought this after my NARS Orgasm ($26) ran out and like it just as much if not more
Bare Minerals face powder: I use the Matte Foundation ($28) because it feels like and evens out my complexion. I use the Blemish Therapy ($28) on spots and I feel like it keeps me from breaking out.
When I am running out the door, sometimes I'll just use a dab of Clinique Even Better Makeup ($24.50) mixed with my moisturizer all over my face for some light coverage.
Just started using Ole Henriksen's Ultimate Lift Eye Gel ($38) because my eyes are SUPER puffy with dark circles (probably thanks to grad school)...I think my eye looks better so far, but I'll probably update after a few weeks.

I think I got everything, but that's part of all the randomness filling up my makeup area of the bathroom.

Any other questions? Feel free to ask!

    14. NadiaThinks

Absolutely! I shop a lot for business casual and professional wear.

My favorite suits are those made by Tahari. Not only is the material extremely comfortable, but the weave of the fabric is well done and looks crisp even though it feels soft. They also have a good balance of structure while still looking feminine and flattering curves.

That said, Tahari is expensive. And so off I go to Nordstrom Rack. I found two fantastic Tahari suits there for $45 each. A great bargain.

Now, if you need a bunch of suits because you have to wear one everyday and need one you can find quickly, I say to look at Zara and The Limited. Both of these stores always have suits in stock for reasonable prices (about $100-150 per suit). In Zara, look carefully at the lining of the suit and the materials, as they have three different lines with three levels of quality. Zara Woman definitely has the best use of material. The Limited is a great resource for skirt suits. Too often I see women wearing a jacket that clearly came from a different suit than did the skirt, and it can so easily be avoided. Since The Limited makes their suits with various options, it is easy to have a blazer with a skirt and pants, all made of the same material and dyed the exact same color!

Shirts: for the shirts that I wear under my suits, I like to look at comfortable knits. I always say that if you are not willing to wear the suit without the shirt, it is absolutely not worth it. The Limited and Zara are good sources for cheaper yet quality knits ($20-50 a top), and again, Nordstrom Rack is a good resource for good finds.

Nordstrom Rack is my favorite resource because you can find some EXTREMELY good deals. I even saw a Dior suit there for $200! BUT you have to be willing to invest an entire day here, because of the searching and the fitting room time.

The best investment that you can make in your wardrobe search is to find a good opinion. Ask! I bring along someone brutally honest and even ask other girls in the dressing room what they think. A random stranger is a good resource because they have no biases against or in favor of you.

Nordstrom itself is a good resource because you can use a personal stylist for free; I do this during their anniversary sales since everything is cheaper and I can use someone to help me sift through the floors of available merchandise.

Please feel free to ask any questions! If I was not specific enough to your budget or location, please let me know and I will be happy to help! NadiaThinks@gmail.com or FormSpring.me again!

Great question! I would LOVE to dress exactly as my blog, but life & budgets, alas. I operate on a LOT of basics, but I love color and pattern, so I do try to incorporate the SPIRIT of my blog posts, if not the actual items. So you can usually find me in black pencil skirts with fun details or black skinny slacks or a pretty dress, but I pair them with basic colorful tops and simple accessories. Since I am in school, I do wear jeans quite a bit.

Most of my closet is not full of prints even though I love them, but I try to incorporate a lot of bright colors. My friends usually tell me that I look like a dressed up version of a college student, 'cause I am still wearing basics, but I try to pick items with just a little something extra (like putting the prints in my bags and shoes, so that it is easy to dress up any outfit). Most of my fashion sense in real life comes through in my accessories.

Upon seeing my closet, one of my friends saw the row of $3.80 basic tees that I have from Forever 21 and said "based on your blog, I had NO IDEA you'd have more t-shirts that I do!" But they're easy to layer and add a pop of color to any outfit at a good price.

I keep a record of what I wear every single day and try to take photos, but my Weardrobe updates are way behind right now--you can check it out if you want to see what I've rushed out the door wearing in the past(link on the blog!).

      Thanks for the question! :o)
