Not really. I have friends who are really not flexible, but are still really passionate in learning. They stretch everyday, hoping that one day their flexibility or even turn out will be better. Which is a really good thing! (: Adult as in how old? I have friends who are in their early 20s and they're still taking class. If you mean older than this, then yes still. I know there are in other classes under my teacher, just that they are not in the same class as me.

Hey! Sorry I can't recommend, cause I've only been using Bloch. It depend on individual actually. (: For me, i prefer bloch but some of my friends got Sansha and they prefer it over Bloch. So ya! And it's not necessary to get demi point before starting pointe. Demi point shoes are sort of a ballet flats actually, only that it look like point shoes. The Vaganova's use it instead of flats and RAD exams too.
