Tofu stir fry. I love it. My family was really skeptical about tofu, but apparently I made it completely unintimidating! I put peanut butter and ginger and carrots and noodles together and it's delicious. YONIT taught me this.

I've been pretty fortunate not to have any events with worst-pain-of-my-life status, but I've had some can't-get-out-of-bed neck pain for all of this month so far. Sometimes it stays like that all day, and sometimes it goes away not long after I wake up.

BARBRA STREISAND. (woo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-oo-o!) by Duck Sauce.
-
NOT AT ALL. I really love clothes.
-
A brown sweater vest. It doesn't look that great. It's not impressive or pretty or interesting. I found it once for maybe $4 and I just LOVE IT. My NERD PRIDE sweatpants from MIT come in 2nd. I like to wear them with my BC ATHLETICS sweatshirt to confuse people and keep warm.

I HAVE BEEN THINKING HUGS FOR FOUR WEEKS.

I have a tendency to take jobs where the relief is in the work. I work with people I like, so the more I work, the more support I have from people I love. More work- whether it's my Etsy, a production, or my day job- means more art and more time with people I love. I'm very lucky in that respect.

And I love a good sandwich
So if you have a sandwich
I can solve it for you! -
Time Lord Rock? (Slightly) Psychic Paper. Nerdfighteria? Will, Will, and the Katherines. Wizard Rock? The Foxy Fitchburg Finches. Normal music? I have no idea.

Lady Gaga. She makes me want to sew. She makes me want to dance. She makes me wish I could sing. She stands up for what's right. I love her.

I hear he's lurking in the shadows! I hear he's lurking in the dark!

SO excited.

A MAGIC WAND. (When I was four, I was in a childhood logic study at Boston College and every time I got a question right, I justified my answer with my counting skillz and every time I was wrong I said I knew my answer because of "my magic wand at home")

I'll be starting to make hats as well as a few other items I'm really excited about for my Etsy shop mynameisie.etsy.com starting next week after the play I'm working on closes! I've been busily stitching prototypes backstage!

I just got to work on my dream show as a Wardrobe Supervisor working on an original John Kuntz show. I feel like westerns are one of the most fun to make costumes for because you can make big elegant costumes and then destroy them a bit. It would also be a dream to design for David Gammons' Medea which has been announced as a part of ASP's 2011-12 season. He works with designers to make REALLY visually striking plays including an all male production of Titus Andronicus using rocks and water in place of flesh and blood. http://www.davidrgammons.com/images/gallery/Titus33.jpg

The past year has been really difficult with no @ElaDarling or @Paresthesiology, but a year ago I was working at AMC and I wasn't doing anything that made me happy. Now I have a tiny business on Etsy I'll be working with my favorite theater company again this winter, and I really feel like I'm moving forward- like I'm out of the gap years.

Hmmmm. I think that would have to be Marybeth Nagini. She's awesome, and I don't get to see her often enough!
-
Buy myself some necessities and some Sleep No More tickets and put the rest toward college.
