I've been reading since I was very young. And I journaled througout high school and college (mostly, just sad stories of how so-and-so didn't love me! Ugh!). But I never tried to write short stories until 2007. But I think reading a lot is the key. Just write what you'd love to read (which, in my case, is hot, girl-on-girl action!).

LOL! I deserve that! But for real, I work A LOT. In fact, I didn't say this in the other answers, but I actually have 2 jobs. I work a 9-to-5 day job M-F, but on weekends I have an elderly woman that I look after. So, actually, I work 7 days a week (like a lot of us in this economy). But I promise, I'll be better! Forgive me??

I will, I promise! I'm so sorry! One day, I'd love to write full-time. But for now, I have to have a day job to pay the bills and that takes up SO much time!
