((I'm reminded of the JLU episode featuring The Ultimen heroes modeled after the "Affirmative action" Super Friends characters.
Ultimately it's not about the Gimmickry or thematic concepts((though I love both when done right) and more about, I suppose "obvious intent" would be the best word here. As oposed to, like, "Sale Guy" or "Discount woman" Try very obvious, generic kinds of characters that don't seem to have much thought put into them or are obvious marketing ploys with a team composed of equally obvious stereotypes is a good idea. "This is our "Strong guy" his name Is "Mighty Man" he's kind of stupid, This is our Fire guy, "Flame Boy" he's impulsive and hotheadded" and then ramp it up to eleven, that kind of thing. -
I think if my guns got any bigger people would laugh at me. Or I'd need 3 times the pouches on my costume to match.

nah, because honestly most of the issues of people being in need isn't one of waste, it's one of selfishness. There' MORE than enough to feed and house and clothe everyone as it is. I can throw out a half-eaten sandwich sometimes.
