Orlando. 1992. I was at the Disney Hotel attending the annual Promax/BDA Broadcast Conference. It was cocktail hour. We were all dressed to the nines, sippping champagne and enjoying canapes. I popped a plump, ripe cherry tomato in my mouth. It exploded. A stream of bright tomato juice and cherry seeds shot from my mouth ... across the back of an acutely manicured woman, wearing a WHITE Chanal suit. I held my breath. My friend grabbed me by the arm and marched me away. I remain humiliated to this day. At very least, I owe that woman dry cleaning!!

Lots of crazy things happened. When I lived there, this one was my favourite. To determine the time and date when the ice went out on Lake Couchiching, an old car would be put on the lake, with a clock placed on the front seat. When the car went through the ice, the water stopped the clock. People would bet money on the exact time the ice would go out and I think they won cash or some other prize.
