Ask me anything regarding the race I created

While the Cocos are indeed a very clever race, and are able to move to different states of technology at a relatively quick pace, the one main thing they lack when compared to other races is unification. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond control, the final survivors of the Coconial Downfall were all killed in an explosion inside the rocket they built to escape. As a result of this Coco spores were spread across the galaxy and would land randomly on planets (The spores were designed to be resilient and can be pretty much found anywhere!) however this meant that while the Cocos ended up having a large presence in most areas, very few actually establish a multiple planet empire.

How far they go in technology also would depend on the adversity they face - if their enemies are of a much higher technology to themselves, the Cocos would need to enhance their tech as quickly as possible, whereas if the planet they arrived on is still full of races using gunpowder then they have no need to go further in technology. (Though there is always, like humans, a pioneer who will take the first steps towards an age increase). It is rare that any one Coco presence will remain in a single age forever, but often it can take a while to further tech, which as mentionws is mostly dependant on their enemies or allies.

It is also worth noting that there are many famous Cocos, but few are known throughout the entire Coco race. The only one thus far worthy of such a claim is the Grand Knight himself.

All Cocos are made in my image, so the simple answer to this question is that I, MotherCoco, was the first Coco.

((When I first joined PW I made an army called the "Sentroids", after a while I decided to revamp them but they ended up looking a bit too much like an already existing army, as a result I decided to sprite what I thought the pilots of the Sentroids would look like. Originally I was going to make them all look like Coconuts (with the mouth being a dot like the eyes, to represent the dark spots on top of a coconut) which is where I got "Cocos" from.

Obviously they don't look much like Coconuts, they look more like oranges, but I liked the name so I decided to keep it.))

While the first ever Cocos existed on Coconial, the first ever discovery in the PW universe was on a planet "owned" by a race of floating Robots. This was early in the Coco's timeline, perhaps a few hundred years after the surviving Cocos of the Coconial disaster were killed as a result of their rocket exploding.

The closest the Cocos have ever been to a civil war is when FatherCoco unleashed the disease known as "Debilito Adficio", a strange virus which upon infecting a Coco would turn their skin into a bark-like material. Infected Cocos would lose all sense of reason and openly attack all those who weren't like them. Alongside those infected, FatherCoco took ordinary Cocos and twisted them into forms whose skin was withered and empty looking.

Lead by a Coco who had resisted the torment but had been sent into madness, the husked Cocos and Infected Cocos caused much havok around the Medieval time period. Since the Knight of Chaos' defeat by the hands of the Grand Knight, the Dark Cocos have never been seen thus.

As a result, no more wars between the Cocos have really broken out.

Cocos use all parts of their diet in energy production, and as such have no waste products. If they did however, it would probably just look like the chewed up remains of what they have eaten.

    7. MotherCoco

Usually the Cocos build machines to help make up for their lack of height in the face of other species, though unfortunately these contraptions tend not to be built for structural navigation and as such even they find it hard to sometimes navigate an enemy or ally's base. Presuming it is an Ally, they would usually build specific stairs for themselves (with permission of course) or build machines specifically designed for navigating that particular species' base.

If however they are enemies, which regretfully they usually are, the Cocos will often struggle to go to deeper parts of the base - as such they would either help each other if the task is not to great, or tactically retreat to develop some device to enable them to get through the base.

Of course, they can always just blow up everything as they go along.

Why yes, there are plenty of heroes for the Cocos, and plenty more to come I'm sure.

While I won't tell you of all heroes, I shall delve a little into the most famous Coco - The Grand Knight.

Around the time that FatherCoco was making his reappearance, a Coco with courage unseen for many years rose up to fight back against the threat that was the Husk Cocos. He showed such bravery and determination in the face of these dark forces that I gifted him an armour as red as a caveling's hide. While I will not go into details of his story, it was a fact that the grand knight did indeed die, but his "soul" and armour remained. As such he now stands by my side, and occasionally asks that I grant equally brave Cocos the gift of his armour.

Cocos themselves don't really work the same as normal animals, so while shooting a human or whatever in the head would pretty much instantly kill them (due to the brain being damaged) the Cocos (being just a "head") will not be instantly killed. That been said, their pain threshold isn't overly large so usually a single shot is enough to knock them out of battle anyway.

    10. MotherCoco

Besides a brain and nervous system, no. I am proud with my work on the Cocos, for their flesh provides the energy required to power the brain, and this energy comes from being in contact with the earth, or anything made by Coco hands.

      Impressive huh.

The steam badger is the first member of Coco Society to make the jump from Gunpowder age to Steam age. Naturally he's a bit of a hero.

    13. MotherCoco

It largely depends on the age in question. During their primitive years the Cocos have no form of rule, they all work together and don't really need any laws.

The medieval and gunpowder ages will usually have some form of king, while he isn't the be all and end all of ruling (he can be easily overthrown for example) he is pretty much the leader of those ages.

If a large group of Cocos survive past these ages they come onto the steam age, which is usually so wildly different that no form of law exists at all.

The Conflict and Future ages are usually led by a master tactician of some sort, as these ages are usually the ones constantly at war.

    14. MotherCoco

It largely depends on the age, up until around the conflict age, Cocos simply use gold (However the primitive age doesn't use currency) any age after and including the conflict age are usually too preoccupied in war situations to be worrying too much about trade, henceforth no Cocos request money for their services.

    15. MotherCoco

It's a mixture between magic and technology, so the Cocos use wooden gears and engine belts but the primary source of power and levitation comes from crystals with huge amounts of magic energy.

    16. MotherCoco

As it stands, two races of robots are allied with the Cocos, they have not come across any other races who wish for alliances. The two races mentioned is the DRII Republic and the Nerobots

    17. MotherCoco

Generally, if the unknown race they come across is, or looks friendly they will often make moves to ally with them.

If however an enemy is perceived as being a threat to the expansion of the Coco empire they will be met with an unrelenting and merciless opposition.

So to properly answer your question, they do not make moves to destroy every race that isn't themselves.

    18. MotherCoco

FatherCoco, now there's a name to dread. He was my acquaintance for a long time, similar to me he had the powers to create new beings...unfortunately his attempts were less successful than mine. As a result I allowed him to have similar dominion over my Cocos, but behind my back he sought kill them - his jealousy bested him in this case. He set disasters to plague the planet I created the Cocos on - Coconial. Though many Cocos died, the effect it had on them was the opposite to what FatherCoco intended - they worked together to escape the planet via superior technology, by trying to kill my children, he had accidentally made them stronger.

He is probably most famous for the creation of a horrific virus that targets only Cocos - Debilito Adficio. It's a shame that even when he attempts to create life, all he can do is create beings of death and destruction.

    19. MotherCoco

As it stands, the Cocos have yet to invent such missiles. The need for interplanetary combat is not an urgent one.

    20. MotherCoco

Their souls, as it would be called in your tongue, return to me. With especially valiant and heroic Cocos serving at my side. Their bodies become one with the very nature they were born with, so usually within a few days if a coco died on say, soil, it would become soil.
