My blog header? Bangkok. It's a strip of a picture I took at at Temple of the Reclining Buddha where Wat Po School of Traditional Thai Massage is located. I trained there in 2005.

Office Depot has stunning weekly school supplies specials, and Walgreens is awesome for having things like folders for 9 cents and Sharpies for a quarter. Staples has some pricier things on full rebate. Office Depot you've practically got to be lined up at the door though - they're very limited in their supplies and 25-cent scissors are a doorbuster deal. Teachers can register and get higher quantity limits than parents.

For daily delivery...$1.50 - but be more generous if they're driving because they don't get an adjustment for the high cost of gas.

I don't know the answer but I can point you in a couple of directions to check out.

I'm surprised they won't contest - after all, they're responsible for his unemployment payments. From one angle, he did not fulfill the terms of his contract - but if it wasn't in writing then the employer's position is weaker. Also, he was in the job for 7 months and 6 months is the point at which you qualify for benefits. So my advice would to apply and then if they reject him, you'll know on what grounds and then you can appeal it.

I hate Facebook - sorry. I had an account briefly for all things coupon related and it somehow allowed people from my massage profession to find me and I was very embarrassed. Different email addresses and everything - yet the damn program went crawling for contacts everywhere. So for me it's a "just say no" to FB.

I suck, I know. But I'll be taking 5 days off from all work for my sister's wedding, and will be writing some posts while traveling or hiding from too much family. I can be such a recluse, I know.

I do work on them. I don't treat them in a sexual manner though - I dig my elbow along the hip joint, thumb the iliac crest, etc. Sure, some men get turned on, but they know it's not my intention and behave accordingly. Usually.

Hm, I might have to answer that in a blog post. The quick answer: focus on stockpiling your staples (e.g. yogurt, eggs, cheese, chicken breasts, etc) when a great sale hits at the supermarket. Those sorts of things usually get the supersale treatment at least once a month.

So sorry! Trying to post twice a month and improve on that. I do a lot of web writing for my new job, so that has eaten into the 'fun' here.

No, I didn't. I started some martial arts training at the end of my junior year, but didn't venture into wrestling until my college days.

Small one, hands down. In my experience, you're likely to be valued for your individualism over your ability to conform to a pre-set image.
