As a whole they're about equally shit but 4chan creates more of their shared content so Reddit I guess. Reddit is also inferior as a discussion board and anyone worth their salt can get the news it aggregates faster on their own. This isn't including out of vogue propaganda bait like "le", ragecomics and chanology; though I will never let the users involved in those things live them down.
