Hi there! :) I've been wracking my brain to answer this, for you...lol. I realized there aren't many that I've found, but I do love: http://www.artequalshappy.typepad.com/ & http://onesheepishgirl.blogspot.com/ & http://www.stitchnationyarn.com/Patterns/ (not really a blog) & http://awoodennest.blogspot.com/ - hopefully I can add to that list, soon!

I put my pages in good ol page protectors! I've just written up a post that talks about my page storage a bit more that will go live tomorrow, but here's the gist: I used to use post-bound albums, but now I can't keep up and just have piles of pages in boxes and on shelves (literally!!). They're not so thick that they don't fit in page protectors, though (I fit two back-to-back - and if they are too chunky, you can just cut 1/4 inch off of a side and that works to get them in there. :) I plan on getting them all in big binders, eventually. :) I'll try to photograph them once they're all pretty, one day.

I'm on Sassafras's design team, so the team works with all of Sass's paper collections - but there's not a Sass kit club. I have seen their papers in lots of different kits, though - I think they're in Cocoa Daisy's kit this month, and sometimes in Studio Calico's kits...but always mixed with other goodies. :)

Oh, fun! :) I'd say Granville Island is always a great stop (for food + drinks + shopping) - go to Paper-Ya! There's a great sushi place hidden East on Davie Street called 'Juno', Gastown has a lot of great pubs (like The Greedy Pig) and is the oldest part of town to see (so is Yaletown, which is a little ritzier but has great food everywhere), the Capilano Suspension Bridge is pretty cool, and the West End/Denman Street has a lot of great restaurants and is close to Stanley Park - English Bay is pretty, Third Beach is cool, and it's fun to rent a bike and ride around the Park seawall, too! :) Have a great time!

Hmm. I have a Brother, and they're really good! Singer machine's are great, too. I literally just got the $80 Brother XL-2600 machine from Walmart when I moved out, and it's been really good! It has 25 stitches, can do buttonholes, and is a real work horse. :) If you're new to sewing, something like mine is great! And congrats on graduating!!

Thanks! :) I'll try to do a tutorial for this on the blog, one day - but basically I use ink (or water down paint), dip my brush in until it's really saturated, hold it above where I want the splash to be and flick/tap in a downward direction the metal part of brush (the part just above the brush hairs). :)

Thank you for the sweet words! If you scroll down a little further on the blog, there are options to follow me though google connect & Typepad, as well - I'm hoping to have other readers set up for April!! :)

I've done a few different types of binding over the last little bit - I'm not sure which you're thinking of, but the ''How to Make Books'' book by Esther K. smith is a great resource for all binding! For mini albums, I sometimes just poke holes in the cover & pages with my awl and string them together (you can use metal rings, yarn, string, etc.). :)

he he - oh, that's a tough one! I think being a horse would be lovely. Mane flowing in the wind...aah. Or a puppy! :) Or even a cat, for that matter - all independent and napping in the sun. :) Something cuddly!

I would love to study communications/graphic design, preferably with a little illustration thrown in there. :) I only have a short college stint with 2d animation, all the rest I do is winging it, somewhat, so I'd love a good 4 years behind me - now that I know what I want to do! lol.

Ooooh...I have never heard of this, when I have a moment I'll check it out! (And blog about it if I join, too, so you can find me there). :) Thanks for the heads up!

I just had somebody ask the same thing! :) I'm hoping to finally get it up this week or next. :) As soon as I have a spare night & some freelance work is done, I can get going on it!!
-
lol. Oh, man - I've been meaning to post that *forever* - the thing that's holding me up is editing the photos. I'm notoriously bad at getting them edited & up in a timely matter. And now it's no longer 'fresh', it happened months ago - which will take longer to write - agh! - but I'm hoping this week or next I'll finally get the post up. :) I can't wait to share what a beautiful weekend/workshop it was! Eeek! Thanks for being so patient!! :)

Yay for anything questions! :) My husband is about 9 years older than me (right now I'm 25 and he's 34) - but I think the numbers are wrong. ;) lol - meaning, he sure isn't 34 at heart. When we met, we both thought we were the same age - about 26/27, which was super funny. We act the same age.
And we met at film school - I took a year of classical animation and he started the same program a few classes behind me, so we always saw each other in the halls half asleep & we had matching skull shirts. He asked me out for a record of like 4 months or so before I finally (had time to) go out with him, and when I finally did we clicked right away. :) It felt like we'd known each other for years. :) -
Hmm. That's a toughie! I usually don't look so far ahead, and I definitely don't have a 5-year-plan!
I do, however, have a general idea: I'm hoping to start school next fall for a 4-year degree, so hopefully in 5 years I will have graduated, found a rad job, road-tripped across Canada one summer & swapped half a semester in Italy. I'll have my own motorcycle to ride with hubby, by then, and perhaps even my indie bizz/design work will be established enough to be my sole income. :) Yay!
