The Portra guide is awesome. Do you have any advise for pushing Portra 400? Say, 3 stops to 3200... I just shot a test roll at a low light reception and metered for 3200. I was going to advise RPL to push process it. Or will I be happy 3 stops under?
totally depends on the lighting situation. but from what i've found, i would NOT push the film past 1 stop. it gets too contrasty and it looks a bit crossed processed.

Fuji gave up on film wow! I must have missed the memo. I've always been a Kodak shooter so I was pleasantly surprised to see you shooting Kodak again. Next question... I got a handful of people in WNY wanting to have a film workshop... Would you do that?
i'm working pretty closely with richard photo lab doing their Color PAC (specific profile for my images) and they are really nailing what i've been doing with the new kodak portra. to the point where i don't have to do any color correction. its amazing.
where or what is WYN? -
I see you are shooting a lot of Kodak film these days. Are you still a Fuji film shooter?
