No, he is not., and he's not planning on changing that any time soon. BUT he does willingly go with me which means a lot to me.

My sister lived with me out in North Carolina for a little while, while she was there she used to go to one of the church buildings and play soccer on Thursday nights. Occasionally I would go with her. Marco played soccer there too.... I remember the first time I saw him. He was wearing jeans and a white t-shirt and had on a baseball cap. I thought he was SO handsome. We hung out with the same group of friends occasionally and ended up practicing languages... him english and me spanish. We weren't looking for anything serious, but things just kind of evolved. We had so much fun together (still do).

Choice #1 is the US, no specific place. We liked North Carolina, Arizona, Idaho, even Washington despite all the rain. Immigration to the US is hard, and it seems to keeps getting harder. Our case is a difficult one, and even though we're legitamitally married obtaining visas while in the US was impossible for us. (We talked to MULTIPLE lawyers and Immigration Officials over the course of 3 years). The US is still an idea out there, but a distant idea.
Choice #2 is Canada. Apparently it's easier to immigrate to Canada. We've had our paperwork submitted for 27 months and are. still. waiting. We will be here until our paperwork is processed (and approved!) We are happy to be here in Honduras, but are excited to be able to "progress" in life. -
Yes. All the time. Now this isn't to say I'm not thankful for our time here. I LOVE getting to know Marco's family and his homeland and wouldn't trade this experience for anything. Oonce we leave we will always come back. BUT, this isn't our first choice.... or second choice, but number one & two haven't worked out yett. My mom and I joked that we (Marco, the kids, & I) were living the dream (living in a tropical climate with very minimal overhead) ... it may be someone's dream, but it isn't our dream.

As of this moment I'd like to get rid of mosquitoes. I have no idea what their "purpose" is and they keep biting Maria. Which is frustrating and worrisome because they carry diseases (Dengue here) and she scratches, and scratches, and scratches, and her young sensitive skin can only take so much.
