Haha, I think loads of things are a waste of money. Contacts are great for people who have really poor vision. However, I use my glasses very rarely - occasionally during lectures if I have a crappy seat, if I'm driving long distances at night, etc. Since I don't really need them, I'd rather not purchase something with an expiration date.

Orange-y brown eyes. No, I think contacts are a waste of money. I have glasses that I use occasionally.

Vipassana helped me, but it's hard to prescribe one thing since everybody is different. Check it out, though. There might be free workshops in your area, depending on your location.

Definitely agree and identify more with ancient philosophy. There isn't a specific philosopher that I agree with 100%, but my beliefs are close to those of vedic philosophy.
