I think that it is in a "neutral status" not moving back or forward.

The company I work for is one of the few that want to work in "new" things (telecommunications software) which is bringing us new challenges. But the most of the companies are just "outsourcing" companies that do nothing but "monkey business": Monkey DEV, Monkey QA, Monkey Support. The only way that SW engineers in México have to "evolve" is working for good foreing companies with complex processes and challenging projects.

México needs companies with new ideas and business challenges to move forward. Will it happen? I hope so.
