      I wasn't quick to embrace the new points system because I don't like change...who does? Since its been out I haven't really followed the program; however, last week I followed the program and tracked. I ended up losing 4 lbs. Last week I learned that I can be satisfied and full if I eat more power foods, fruits and veggies. And I really like the fact that fruits and most veggies are free! It gives me the flexibility i need when I am having a hungry moment. I do like the fact that I get more daily and weekly points; however, the points values in some foods have increased. In short, I plan to stick with WW since it has worked in the past. Lately I've been slacking, but i plan to use my big loss this week as momentum. Hope that helps you decide.

      I guess I got tired of being sick and tired of being overweight. I also hated the fact that I didn't have many options when shopping for clothes. Once I started losing I liked the results so I kept going and I realized I DO NOT want to go back. I think the biggest thing IS, I let the cat out of the bag and everyone knows about my weight loss endeavor. So that means I must keep moving forward so I do not give the haters in my life ammunition...hahahaha. I have lots of encouragement from friends and family and that really helps to keep me motivated. In the path I would try to lose by myself because I didn't want anyone to say anything whenever I quit.

      Okay...I try to use the mantra eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper BUT in the evening I get really snacky. So...I try to make sure I have enough points in the evening for either a decent dinner or snacks OR both. With that being said, I usually use about 5 or 6 pts for breakfast, 5 or 6 for lunch, and maybe 6 or 7 for dinner (depending how early I eat. I usually like to reserve 2 points for snacks and I eat about 3 snacks daily. O, I guess I should let you know I only get 23 points. It's a balancing act and it takes a lot of planning. One of my main goals is to start the day with a breakfast that will give me a bang for my buck. Basically I choose foods high in quantity but low in points. Egg whites is a perfect example. Pair 3 egg whites with bagel thin and low sodium turkey bacon for 3 points. Add fruit for an additional 1 or 2 points. I'm all about quantity. I hope that helps.

      I use a pink Canon Cybershot that I got for my birthday about 4 years ago! I love that camera and it only has 8 mega pixels which was a big deal 4 years ago. I am in the market for a new camera...still shopping around.

      I like to splurge on pizza and sweets. I am a junk food junkie so sometimes I will splurge on snacky foods like golden Oreo cookies and chips.I'm a snacker! I usually spend my 35 on going out to eat on Saturdays. If I know I have a special event coming up, I will save my 35 for that event. Most of the time I use most of my 35 on the weekend.
