it was actually the name of my email first, before i even knew i was going to get into producing..then some of my friends from elementary school (Claude Watson School for the Arts) started calling me McCallaman/McCalla...so i thought it seemed fitting lol
-
i would have to say that i draw inspiration from many different sources, the main person being Michael Jackson. he was definitely my biggest inspiration in terms of everything from music, to performance, to dance. listening to his music made me want to produce music for singers especially
-
It would have to be "Tynisha Keli - Blackberry" that girls voice does wonders to me! lol
-
McCallaman (of course lol)
A.C (from montreal)
Caliph
K-Beatz
Aaron Manswell (ur almost there tho Jordan haha)
I dont think there are too many producers under that age lol
...that is all -
hmmm.. I dont even know man lol. I know that Andreena Mill - Real Love is in there tho

Love this question! My main plan is to continue building my production resume as well networking with people I know (and need to know) in the entertainment industry. Im also trying to get thru university and get my degree. I think that should work. I WILL ALWAYS do music! its in my bones..real talk. and if im not doing music fulltime (which i will be by the age of 23) i will most likely be doing something within the industry. i.e photography or something else

good question! I almost ALWAYS start with the drums, unless I have a melody in my head. but 99% of the time, drums are layed down first. and if their not kicking, i scrap the beat lol
-
haha! Thanks sir Dunn! tis God's blessing
-
most of the time, yes
-
I dont think ive mastered it quite yet, but you learn alot from just playing around with the two. specifically with automation, i use midi controllers so that helps out alot
-
hmm. id lay down the drums next, and then an instrument holding the chords to match the melody
-
how? through myspace. thats how people were able to hear my beats primarily...and just by messaging people and trying to self promote
-
oh dear..thats an easy one...http://www.myspace.com/gogobeats
-
most effective way of getting to the next music when it comes to music (i think) is listeenningg. when a teacher speaks u listen! so when music flows...listen!
-
