I used to, a long time ago, but I can't handle the long hours at the keyboard those require anymore, because of arthritis and home demands. I played Dark Age of Camelot pretty seriously 7 years ago or so. In the early 80s, I had the second-highest score on the q*bert machine in the student union for a couple of years. Mostly now, I blog, twitter, and facebook when I'm hanging out online (besides reading stuff), and outside of that, I'm a profound geogeek. I like birding, I like hiking .... and to be out in nature with me is to see how geeky it can be.

I don't. I was raised Catholic and for awhile, when I was feeling theist, I went to the Episcopal church. But if I were to follow any, now, it'd be UnitarianUniversalist. And I haven't quite gotten into that. I'm a strong agnostic bordering on atheist, and I have such strong non-religious community I haven't felt the need to follow something more.

I keep @zem42 on retainer for that sort of thing.

Birthdays are like holidays to me -mine, anyone else's. I want them honored as those people want them honored... ignored if that's what they want, or celebrated, or otherwise done right.

I simply can't imagine choosing "boys or girls" - I choose individuals.

I've been to beaches, but the idea of spending money or time on a retreat or camp just underwhelms me. I grew up in a nice, Catholic family that also thought nothing of nudity. We skinny dipped when it was appropriate (out camping alone, or at Clear Creek where everyone swam naked), and in general, weren't especially modest. When it's warm enough to be naked at home, I have to check in with houseguests to make sure they don't mind that I tend to run around in various states of address. I don't get a thrill out of being naked, but I'm comfortable naked. It's so not-a-big-deal that "did you enjoy the experience?" is like "did you enjoy running errands?" or "did you enjoy going camping?" Whether I'm naked somewhere isn't what affects my enjoyment of it.

There's just one happiest moment I can have? How can I qualify happiest moments? Lying on the grassy hillside in Wales with Casey? Feeling *so* incredible family-wise last night, or on Christmas. What's happiest? Who can possibly determine that?
