Whether they're wearing clothes or not.

To be perfectly honest, I never really cared much for the Baftas. Maybe it's just award fatigue.
I haven't seen The King's Speech, and might never see it just to be contrarian. It's probably a very accomplished film, well acted, directed, all that, and deserving of the awards it's received, but I can't help feeling like I already know exactly what will happen. It's the type of unchallenging costume drama that we make so well and have so much international success.
To me it seems to reinforce stereotypes of the British film industry, and might actually be preventing more interesting films in interesting genres from being made, and I resent that. It's totally unfair to lump that on the King's Speech, but hey, they're making enough money without me.
Just now I looked through movies from 2010 that are British productions as isted on Wikipedia, and I've seen very few of them. I'm behind on my movies. Also, national boundaries have less and less meaning when producing a film nowadays, so films like Clash of the Titans or The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader are actually "British films".
Tl;dr - I don't really feel like I can comment on the Bafta's accuracy, as I have seen very few 2010 British movies. -
