I won't be able to afford Acen next year, sorry! D:
-
I have a couple friends that want to do Midna, though I hadn't really thought of making any plush props since I'll already have my hands full with weapon props XD
-
I haven't decided yet XD. We just recently got the DVD from the lady that recorded it, but we haven't even gotten to sit down and watch it ourselves yet. I don't mind sharing photos and talking about it, but the video might just stay between my friends and family.

You know....I can't remember XD. It was nostalgic because my grandma always took me, my sisters, and cousins there when we were kids, but my hometown was never big enough to have its own local Toys R Us store. So to finally have one nearby in my college town was a real treat, and Amanda and I would have lots of fun browsing there. I remember one time on my way out, an older lady that worked there asked, "Did you get to play with the toys? Did you have fun?" and it really made me smile that she felt we were allowed to have just as much fun as the younger kids.
-
Haha, so many reasons. I love the characters, the fun I get to have with my friends, being able to travel and meet new people, and being able to let my creativity run wild.

Animefest was my favorite for a while, but I'm not sure how much I'll like it with the new location starting next year. I still need to attend more summer cons before I pick a favorite I think XD.

haha I'm a bit late replying to this, but I'm a college graduate! :D Things were really busy last Summer, but things are calming down slowly.

Motions Oil Sheen and Conditioning spray is a good product; you can find it in the ethnic hair section at any walmart or target (make sure it's the big spray can; not the spritz bottle). You hang your wig on something and spray the heck out of it (preferably outside where you won't make a mess), and let it hang-dry for about 2-3 days before combing it. I usually try to limit brushing with just my fingers so that the curls won't go away, but there might be some better ideas like just brushing sections at a time (I honestly haven't owned very many curly wigs, so I'm no big expert on it)
-
I haven't tried it. I've used Motions oil sheen and conditioning spray, and it works pretty good; it's just time-consuming since it takes a few days to dry (and it can look nasty looking before you're allowed to comb it XD). If you wear a wig cap with your wig, you shouldn't have to wash it too often, though if you need to, you can fill a tub or basin with some warm soapy water and just slightly swish it around. Let the wig drip dry COMPLETELY before you ever try combing with anything. Most wigs will come with washing instructions, or you might contact the seller you bought it from if they didn't send you anything.

Well, if you keep up with my Deviantart, I have some pictures from my wedding in my gallery :3

haha I'm slightly late, but thank you very much! (And Merry Christmas to you too!

I'm very accident-prone in a ton of sports (anything that requires me to aim/hit something any sort of distance), so there isn't very many that I'm any big fan of. Though, I did get a black belt in Tae kwon do, and I really enjoy watching performance sports like Gymnastics and Ballet. Ballet is something I wish I could have learned growing up.
-
I would, but I don't know if I'll be able to put something together like that in close proximity to when the show ends.
-
I usually don't use my own camera. Kyle has a nice Canon Powershot that we sometimes use when we do our own photos, but a lot of what you see posted online is usually taken by photographer friends of ours that use SLR cameras.

I like to do 3D :3

yeah, I have. It'd be weird if they DIDN'T stare.

For some people it takes a lot of confidence to get into cosplay to start with. The more you cosplay, the more you get used to it. Sometimes it helps to practice expressions and poses for your characters in front of a mirror. Not only does it help you figure out what looks good, it also helps you get over how silly you might feel XDD. I get stopped for photos all the time, so I'm used to just stopping what I'm doing to put things down and strike a pose. Just standing there like a deer in the headlights probably isn't in your best interest XDD. Generally people are polite and say "thank you" after taking your picture; I'm a bit shy myself sometimes, so I usually just give a nod of my head in acknowledgement (or thank them back/say "you're welcome," etc.)

I'd love to move to Texas. There's a lot down there, and I'd be around tons of friends. I also like warm weather, but not anything insanely hot all the time.
-
I like a ton of pairings, though my two favs are Kingcrabshipping and Spiritshipping.
