Probably. HAHA. I'd have a hard time to be friends with me maybe cause they say I don't show my emotions and affection openly and come off as cold and unfeeling. lol. But since I like the same things as me, we'd probably hit it off and fangirl and go crazy together.

You give everything, change everything, try everything to be that one person for that other person--you know, to be the penguin to his other penguin, to be the one that would be the reason for the tossing and turning (or rolling) in bed or ,simply, be that one reason why he'd be the most poetic man on earth--you put your heart in the line, give it up for his to take.

Then, nothing.

It doesn't matter if your heart beats for him or you're the first one in line. It doesn't. At the end of the day, he'd just say thank you for the affection or the love and pine over that one girl (that most often than not, doesn't want him back). It doesn't matter, too, that you're the first one in line if the one he wants is at the back--all 64 of you would get rejected--and the 65th in line would triumph effortlessly.

You're always the footnote in the story. Never the main character. Always the first to perform, not the main event.

You're just that one girl, among that many others, who could only watch afar as the man you like--maybe even love--be with someone else. And the best thing, after maybe crying for a good couple of days and loads of big mac's and hot fudge sundaes is say goodbye and wait. Wait for the person who would in turn give you a reason to wake up. That one that your heart would skip a beat for or cause premature ventricular contractions because of something cheesy he would say like, I don't know, "You look beautiful"?

What can I say about unrequited love?

It sucks. Like shit it does. But what sucks more is never having the chance to tell that one person that he means the world to you. Everything pales in comparison to love unsaid, it leads to a lot of wasted time and what could have beens.
