Very grateful to Derry's owners for letting me loan him! and er, it makes me feel... grateful...?

Possibly, depends if we can get enough people interested!

We're not going back, well not living on site anyway. I'm still studying there but living on site at a livery yard 10 minutes away instead, so yes he is coming with me :)

I am making one haha. It's nearly finished :)

People who don't give me a chance or have any faith whatsoever! I said right from the start that I could see Derry was a very good jumper and people were all 'waa waa he's old, he's well past his best, after that long out of jumping he may as well retire, he jumps really hollow its awful, omg I'm so offended I'm gonna go cry in a corner' and now I'm just like BITCH PLEASE I TOLD YOU :) Horses do not have an expiration date, they don't get to a certain age and go 'useless', in Derry's mind he is still 5 years old just look at him haha. As for the hollow jumping at the start, come on people you can't expect a horse who loved jumping that much and hadn't done it in 2 years to come back doing it perfectly straight away, he was excited, I didn't know how to get the best out of him, but I think yesterday is proof enough that he just needed to get back into it and I needed to work out what buttons to push. It was the same situation with Willow when I first got her with everyone hating her, I told people to have a little faith and eventually we proved them all wrong, with Derry he is 100x more experienced than Willow was so the improvement is much faster! Ok rant over. ;)

Nope, no terms at all, well nothing out of the ordinary. Just basically that I take responsibility for all care and bills. Bascially just as if he is mine :)

Poor Will's nose is a state despite me completely covering it with suncream at every opportunity, poor bubba

Derry's a pro, Willow had just about learnt how to do them before she was injured, and Will's just like 'aint nobody got time fo' dat.'
-
Willow has to have a specialist called Matt cause she's a weirdo, Will & Derry have a normal one called Gary haha

The livery isn't dependent on the amount of work, it's dependent on the facilities you want. Willow needs full time box rest and a horse walker, and as I live in the middle of the city there are no yards close enough for it to be practical to have her on DIY for this so she's on assisted livery - they give her hay nets I put outside her stable, put her on the walker twice a day and check she's still alive haha and I do everything else. If she wasn't on box rest I'd just be keeping her at the yard Will & Derry are at which is ÂŁ15 for grass livery. Hate to be the one to say it but horses do cost a huge amount of money!
-
Food is free because she doesn't have any hard feed and hay is included in the livery, livery is ÂŁ65 a week (but we're claiming this on insurance as no way in hell can we afford it and the insurance will pay it because my normal livery would be ÂŁ15 a week) Farrier is ÂŁ15 for a trim every 6 weeks as she is nor barefoot not being in work :)
