i like Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri (red bottle, not the clear bottle), Seche Vite (unfortunately), Out the Door (found at Sally's), OPI Rapi-Dry and Essie's Good to Go Fast Dry or Essie's To Dry For topcoat ... but honestly, none of them dry as fast as Seche Vite for some reason, LOL .. but if you can wait at least 1-2 more mins, i'd try out some of the others i mentioned :)

Show Orchid from MAC is my #1 favorite hot pink lipstick .. EVER. :) I've tried others, but that's my all-time fav. :)

Just because both my parents are from the Philippines doesn't mean their heritage can't be from other places. In fact, one of my brother's best friends is from Nigeria, but his ethnic descent is Filipino. And if you knew your history well, you'd know that the Spaniards colonized the Philippines -- which means a shitload of Spaniards immigrated over to the Philippines. :)

Now that that's cleared up ... both of my parents are half of each: Half Filipino and Half Spanish. Which makes me Half Spanish and Half Filipino also since there's basically equal parts of each from each parent.

Seriously tho, why is this so serious for everyone to make me have to explain where i come from and what ethnicity i am?! lol .. is it really that serious for you guys?? .. lol, just sayin ...

i hope you preached that to everyone who wears GEO contact lenses .... just FYI, there are circle lenses that ARE FDA Approved and are NOT illegal. do your research before preaching to the choir booboo .. otherwise your preaching lands on deaf ears ..... liiiiike RIGHT NOW. ;) lol ... just sayinnnn...

I didn't go to college to work at Macy's. I went to college to get an EDUCATION. Working in cosmetics is just a side hustle, just something fun to do and get experience in. It's always been a side thing for me - i got a college education to gain experience for a future CAREER. I had no interest in going to cosmetology school -- that's not what i want to do in the long run.

Classes: Start early and plan early .. if you want to get into a good college, you want to make sure your academics are on point ...

Organization: i love planners -- they help keep me in check when i have shit to do .. even a phone that doubles as a PDA (Blackberry, iPhone, Droid, etc) will help ... depending on how many classes you have, i'd have separate notebooks or a small binder for each one .. or like for a bunch (2 or 3) .. i used to have 2 binders, one for my morning classes and one for my classes after lunch .. i also had a file expando thing that separated any loose papers i got from any of my classes or held my homework that was due on a certain day so i could just be ready to pull it out when my teacher asked for it ..

Friends: don't devote yourself to one clique -- make friends with as many people as you can and join a few interesting clubs, even a sport. :) make some study buddies too -- they help when studying for exams or writing papers come around ..

you want to start with skincare first .. your skin may end up not so oily before the makeup :) .. a lot of people like mattyfing powders or matte finish foundations and definitely use a primer .. i suggest Benefit's POREFessional primer or Dr Brandt's Pores No More -- either of those are good if you have big pores. that will also help in your foundation application.

that's kind of a tough one because it's pretty unique, even though it's in the same family as the "Tiffany Blues" .. it has a bit more green in it, so that's what makes it different. For example, Essie's Turquoise & Caicos and Essence's Crazy Me as well as another one from Orly (forgot the name) -- these are all SIMILAR in color, but they aren't "dupes" exactly. :T Sorry hun! :(

I can't say it's "sucky" but you still have to STUDY and DO HOMEWORK and apply time from your life into your "program" so essentially you're still in SCHOOL. :) Why is college not your thing? What about it makes it NOT your thing? There's just something vital about a college education, but in essence, it really isn't for everybody. I just feel that it brings a special aspect and experience to someone's life that they can't get from anything else in life ... EDUCATION is VITAL. It's not just about getting a job right away just so you can make money. You may be making money but are you EDUCATED? You know what i mean?

On the other hand, i do know people who are happy with just being certified with a program or getting their 2-year AA. So it's really your choice ...

i wasn't happy with the actual POSITION .. if i go back into the legal field, i'd definitely want a different position. I'm definitely happy working with kids and freelancing with hair and makeup but for now i'm dabbling in a little bit of everything :)

I graduated with a Double Bachelor's in Philosophy and Sociology and so far, i'm using both since i graduated :) Philosophy = Law Firm. Sociology = kids. :)

I wouldn't find another job at a lawfirm unless i got paid for what i'm worth for a position that i'd actually enjoy. :) So until then, i'm happy dabbling in everything else i love because that's really the kind of person i am anyway :) I like doing multiple things -- keeps me busy and active and i'm always learning something new. :) rather than a desk job where i just sit there doing the same shit over and over all day you know?

For college -- you want to choose something you KNOW you'll enjoy doing. There is a high percentage of college graduates who never work in the field they majored in so it's normal to be scared of that. Spend your Freshman year doing your PreReqs and take different GEs so you can explore a bit. Attend any career fairs if your college provides them (they should) and definitely look into internships. I went into college as a PreMed PsychoBiology major and then switched to a PreLaw Philosophy/Sociology Double Major ;) things definitely do change and if you feel that you may be making the wrong choice, you'll have time to change your career path within your first 2-3 years of college -- just keep in mind not to "waste time." :)

Next thing i can suggest is for you NOT to apply moisturizer on your eye area .. or to use a mattifying primer on your face and THEN an eyeshadow primer also ... have you tried setting your liner with a powder eyeshadow also? that will help set it :)
