In the very beginning it was the raw and pure emotion of the images I saw, both in my head and in professional photographers portfolios. After many many hours on the street it became more about light and the few golden hours of each day. Lately it has been more about all the different elements coming together (emotion, light, humor).
What I love about street photography and why I can see myself doing it for the rest of my days is that it is very fluid in nature and is unrestricted in a way that a lot of other photography cannot be.
Street photography to me is not about glory or being the best photographer in the world. To me street photography is a way to show how I see things, sometimes to myself, sometimes to friends and sometimes to the world. -

I think Mastinstudio has it down to a tee. You need to be able to edit your photos without the bells and whistles! Nothing will make up for proper shooting and accurate composition! Anything on top is a bonus! Alien skin, Nik Software, Vscofilm.
