We are still in the same apartment! I have been planning on doing an apartment post for ages... I have to be honest, I'm not sure if I'll ever do one! There are so many things that I wish I could change/add that it always feels unfinished. But I might :)

It totally depends on which two cities you're comparing.. Portland vs. Amsterdam.. Amsterdam is much more expensive... San Francisco vs. London I'd say it's a toss up, both are super expensive.. In general massive European cities are really expensive, but that's the same for the US as well, so it's probably pretty comparable. Not sure if this helped much :)

Not really.. I used to wear Light Blue or Escada. These days I'm wearing Stella by Stella McCartney.

I am going to work on a packing post! I have gotten quite a few requests for one :)

great question! I've made a few photo books, printed and framed a few.. but most of them stay on my computer. i am hoping to get most of our travel photos into photo books, but it's a huge undertaking!!

when we go on weekend trips we usually have friends stay at our place with him. a couple times we've had our dog walkers take him because they also run a dog hotel, but we prefer him to be at our place where everything is familiar and comfortable :) while we're at work he pretty much has the run of the place and we have dog walkers who come pick him up every day and take him out for a couple hours and play with other pups. We're gone quite a long time since we have to commute an hour to work so we feel better knowing he is getting outside and that when he's home he's not confined to a crate. he is really good at our place and never destroys anything or goes potty in the house, so it all works out! I wish I could stay home with him all day though :)

We've actually never been! I've been to both Antwerp and Bruges in Belgium and would highly recommend both - especially Bruges. It's seriously like a fairytale town with delicious food and treats!

It totally depends. Most trips we plan about 8 weeks in advance, some longer (like Greece & Italy), some shorter (like Paris or Bruges). We totally dorked out and have a whole travel spreadsheet of places we want to go and then tentatively plan them out for a certain month or season. That has pretty much been our outline for choosing where to go next! :)

I usually just bump up the brightness, contrast and saturation a little bit. I have definitely used actions as well... Here are a few I like:

Thanks! It's from Zara - I got it back in June!

We have the Nespresso Latissima Plus and we really really love it! Would definitely recommend it! Super easy to use and makes amazing foam for lattes and cappucinos :) http://www.nespresso-us.com/machines/lattissima-plus/

Hi There! My #1 advice would be to pack layers. In June the weather will still be pretty unpredictable in Amsterdam and Paris, so I would bring shoes that work in the rain as well as lots of lightweight layers. You can go from sunny to rainy in just minutes in both AMS and Paris, so you want to be prepared for that. A lightweight jacket with a hood will be key! Barcelona should be nice and warm though :)

Hi There! You can find the info at the bottom of this blog post: http://lovelylittledetails.com/2011/03/09/rustic-pretty-portland-wedding-liz-corey-jill-thomas-photography-3/
My wedding was over 2 years ago though so I think the dresses are long gone by now :( Good luck! -
We didn't actually stay in Florence.. we just visited there when we were staying near Lucca. In Venice we stayed here and really liked it. We got a great off-season rate and it included breakfast which was really good! http://www.carnivalpalace.com/ I will blog a bit more about venice, but pretty much everything I saw in Florence is on the blog :)

Thank you! I upgraded to a Canon 5D Mark II this summer.. Before that I was using a Canon 60D, which I'm in the process of selling if you're interested!
-
I actually haven't! I'm asking $850 for the 60D and 18-200mm lens.. I have everything except the manual. Not sure where you're located but this price doesn't include shipping. If you're in the states it would ship from Portland, OR. If you're in Europe from Amsterdam. Email me if you're interested! liz.denfeld {at} gmail.com

They are by Sam Edelman! I got them on GILT. These are pretty much the exact same boots without the spikes on the back :) http://rstyle.me/~6A7B
