You need to figure out what kind of videos you would like to make, and then just make them! So for me, I figured I would do some reviews and hauls when I first started out. The first video I made, (aside from the intro video) was a book haul of recent books I had bought and it worked out pretty well for me.
Once you have an idea of what kind of videos, just start filming. The online book community is very welcoming and supportive of new booktubers! So get involved by commenting on other videos and I would advise possibly using twitter to interact with other booktubers and authors.
