It totally exceeded my expectations! They kept very close to the story which I REALLY appreciated. Even the dialog was very close to the book; when they did add or change dialog, it was for the better. I missed a few scenes, but they weren't vital so I can understand why they were left out or changed. The fighting was awesome, the newborns were awesome, Charlie rocked my socks! It was fun to have so much of Edward and Jacob in the same movie. While I'm Team Edward when it comes to who Bella should be with, my heart actually belongs to both of them! With that being said: the two of them totally rocked the tent scene!
There was more kissing and affection between Bella and Edward which was so sweet! I can't wait until you can see it. It come out on the 9th for you, right? I'll be seeing it for a second time on the 9th so we can chat about it afterwards! -
Wow, good question. The answer is that I love to hate them.
I make it a point to always read the book first because the book is always better than the movie. The flip side to that is that when I watch the the movie I spend the entire time thinking about all the stuff that they left out and how a movie can't possible portray all the awesome things going on in the character's head. Yet I still continue to watch them. Twilight was the worst! Why they chose to leave out vital scenes and add in unnecessary new scenes will bother me forever. I had to watch the movie several times before I could just watch and enjoy it. I thought New Moon was awesome! They left in most of the vital scenes and the new scenes they added were pure awesome!
