Cos they're jealous and butthurt that the actress they're supporting acted twice as long and has double the experience but doesn't gain as much attention and hype as YEH. Let haters be haters. All they're doing is adding more attention to YEH. The opposite of like is not hate, but indifference so at least we know that when it comes to YEH people give a shit. Also, you need to know what negativity is in order to appreciate the positive side of things. Just do what we do best which is supporting YEH.

Cass storyline with Jo In Sung as the cop and Wonbin as the star.
Wonbin ends up falling in love with YEH during their getaway. JIS knows the criminal is YEH but keeps it to himself cos he's madly in love with her but continues to look for her in secret. He ends up finding her happy with WB and goes nuts. He decides to put all the blame on WB and arrests him. YEH wanting to protect WB, tries to calm down JIS and in doing so they spend some time together. She realises she has feelings for both men and can't decide what to do. In the end she hands herself in admitting to all the charges. YEH goes to jail, and there she meets a guy named Michael Schofield. /joke.

I would like to see YEH in a melo action thriller.

If Coffee Prince aired right now, i'm pretty sure- no, i'm 110% certain it would surpass LTM view counts by a huge mile. LTM doesnt hold a candle to CP.
CP had everything - cast, YEH, chemistry, story, side stories, OST and once again YEH. I'm assuming the reason why CP's view counts on Youku etc are lower than the current dramas, is because people watched it when it aired or soon after. I guess the 1 Million viewers were the ones late to the party ^^;

But i'm heaps happy that LTM is very very (very) popular online. There seems to be a cult following, which suddenly sprouted from episode 7 and 8.

Regarding YEH's popularity in China, BBV made a name for themselves over there and are credited as starting the original Hallyu (the Chinese coined that terms btw). Although it was the other BBV ladies that got most of the love, YEH started to get individual attention during X-man and the came along Goong which really catapulted her and CP that sealed the deal.

But I personally would like to see her in a depressing melodrama like Autumn Story. I would love to see YEH work with PD Yoon Seok Ho - this guy knows how to dry out your tear ducts!

The actresses you listed are ggoorrggeeoouuss-one-hit-wonders who are popular for their beauty over talent (though they are not talentless) so in that sense, no YEH is not on that level and probably won't ever be. However this is not a bad thing since talent will always overtake beauty in terms of longevity in a career. A great example of this is Jeon Do Yeon. This actress is not known for her face but for her talent and she is in the 'untouchable' level. She also happens to be YEH's idol and I hope YEH will gradually walk in her footsteps and become as acknowledged and as successful as her.
As for HGE and YIN, you asked who was popular 'now' and they are, but only because they have been on TV doing project after project for the past 2 years. Visibility is vital to popularity. However these 2 are NOWHERE NEAR the level of YEH's stardom and status.
