I wouldn't really credit alot of the webcomics I read as influential as my style doesn't really fit most of them. Actually thinking about it now, I'd say the comics by Sarah Ellerton, "Inverloch" and "the Phoenix Requiem" have set the bar for what I'd really like to accomplish someday, artistically. So there's that.

They don't have a purpose at the moment. If I had to imagine a way that they'd work, however, I'd see it as something like an instructional video booted directly into their memories. Which is a simpler thing to do than you'd think since they'd probably be digitized in a pokeball at the time.
