*sigh* A question I cannot cease to elaborate on.
Some movies I'm really fond of include The Crow, Repo! The Genetic Opera, The Nightmare Before Christmas...hmm, I love way too many.
I will never, ever be able to decide on /the/ best movie ever, because I personally believe that there is simply no such thing as the best of anything. There are movies that are appealing to some, and offensive or vulgar to others. The experiences each of us have been through also plays a factor in how we interpret the movie. For example, a cancer patient may find "My Sister's Keeper" to be touching, but bland for an everyday person who has not experienced the truama of bearing the disease. The judgement of the entertainment industry and everything in general is solely based on the opnion of those who have authority to make such judgements. TIME Magazine listed Justin Beiber as one of the most influential people ever; which I highly disagree with. But its not like my opinion matters, right? Because only the opinions of those who have great effect and power over society get their point of view published. Anyways...I don't even know if you finished reading my philosiphy, but if you pain-stakingly did, I thank you immensely for your patience.
