Whoever asked this string of questions is one of the best people. Ever. :D I got a marimba so I could attempt to make precisely tuned hunks of dead trees resonate at certain frequencies in an order pleasing to the ears.

I don't really know. The only video games I play anymore are obscure as fuck and I get made fun of by a lot of the gaming "community" for playing them, even at PAX (a big gaming expo thing in Seattle). I only play TGM and music games now, and I guess it's because I'm good at them. I used to enjoy them a lot but now I just play to maintain my skills and hopefully try and become the best in the world. Amnesia, a top player, once said something like "I use TGM to prove to myself that I can do anything in the world if I try hard enough" and I think I do the same thing. I'm not very good at many things. Feel free to ask a followup if this didn't answer it! -

Tetris is a melodramatic game! Amnesia said something once like "Tetris is the field which I use to prove in my life that I can do anything with enough willpower", and I agree with him.

Playing Tetris for 4-6 hours a day. It's not healthy and it totally turned me into a weirdo. Also messy relationship breakup things.
