The duration of the longest relationship I have ever been in is 6 years (on February 28th, 2012.) Magdalena Dzambo aka "Maggie" is my significant other. Yes, this relationship is indeed of a serious nature and it began as a Summer romance. This relationship has not ended, and hopefully it never will :o)

Yes, many people in my life have questioned my sexuality. I have had a lot of negative and little positive responses from strangers, acquaintences, retailers (staff at my local grocery store etc), co-workers, friends, family etc. I have had numerous definitions of my sexuality thrown in my face, as though I had not quite understood what being gay means. I have had various reactions from people when I explain to them that I am indeed GAY. My biological mother had assumed and believed I was bisexual as she thought I was physically, emotionally and sexually attracted to males. My little sister and I immediately corrected her in unison "No mum, Kaylah's gay. She is attracted only to women." I sat down with my mum and explained everything, answered all of her questions and addressed any of her concerns/confusion. I gave her time to process it and now she's accepted my sexuality. I am a very patient and understanding human being, I understand that this can take a while to process. A lot of the time I have (male) strangers approach me with "romantic interest" and they turn into the worst versions of themselves when I inform them I am indeed a lesbian. "I'm too beautiful to be gay." "I have long beautiful hair and painted fingernails so there is no way I am gay." are the most common responses. I shake them off politely, and if they don't leave me alone I become agressive. Not violent by any means but very firm in speech.

Oh goodness, it is rather unfortunate but yes there have been people who consider me unworthy/worthless based solely on the fact that I am indeed a lesbian. It does not affect me enough to change who I am, nor what I do in my day-to-day life. It is merely that individual's own perception of me.

This question just will not go away. I am not a fan of eggs as such, but generally scrambled or sunny side up. If my egg is sunny side up I will have a toasted egg, bacon, onion, cheese and steak sauce sandwich. But being lactose intolerant I generally avoid the cheese.

I have been incredibly ill for the past 8 or so months after a dinner out with my family, so I have neglected the Internet a bit as I am trying to recover. I've been in and out of hospital etc so social networks did not even register as a priority.
