I think that honestly people do come out of prison in a better state, it depends on the person, depends on their crime, depends on what prison. There is a lot of factors but with the right mind set and motivators behind the individual there's hope. My father was incarcerated and I have a lot of respect for that guy! He's amazing and has come a long was with support from his friends and family. PLUS he wanted that, he wanted a new opportunity, the want and desire needs to be present. You cannot help someone who doesn't want help.
