Have you cried during a movie?
Formspring question of the day
Definitely. Literally watched Up for the billionth time on the plane back to Chicago and I still cried. Like, in front of people. It was horrible.

My 8 yr old daughter weighs in at 69 lbs. She has always been very petite but recently started to get a little pudgy in the belly. How do I handle this delicately and not destroy her self esteem?
Please don't ruin that baby....She's average for her age (you didn't say exactly how tall she was) and honestly what would come of saying something to her anyhow? It's how you feel....
That said what are you doing? He who holds the purse holds the power...What kind of food do you keep in the house? Do you make an effort to involve her in Extra Curricular Sports and take her lil behind to the Park and chase her in circles and all that other mess you are supposed to do when you have kids? Are you setting a good example as far as healthy living for her?
You need to get Man in the Mirror before you go inform someone who quite possibly still believes in Santa that she may want to do some crunches before Summer...She has enough to face out in the World without getting fucked up Body Image messages at home..Give her a hug and move on with your day....Take her to her pediatrician and get the all clear that you have a healthy happy child and keep her that way...
