      are we the favorites to sign Mata are is there others with a better chance also what do you think of Henderson id prefer McCarthy from wigan for a young signing just hope henderson isnt goin to be one of our top signings to much for me what do you think

      I think Manchester City are very keen on Mata. But we are trying to make this happen. I'm not getting excited as Valencia are hard to negotiate with. Juan Mata Snr is the man who can make it happen.

      hi Dunc in your last answer you said "Adam. Marveaux just needs signing off." Why are LFC not completing the deals and by that do you mean everything has been agreed in terms of price (for Adam) and personal terms? thanks

      Deals are dependent on other deals. Rafa didn't want Keane signing for example if he landed Barry because of his vision.

      Wouldnt it disappoint you if we were only to purchase EPL players like young, downing and nzogbia ? What do you think the chances are we will end the summer without the likes of hazard mata or perotti being signed ?

      Yes I'd be gutted but there will be European imports I am sure.

      Do you know something about Arda Turan or Honda? I know everyone asks about them, but im just worried they havnt been mentioned for a long time. What do you think about Diego, and do you think its true that Kenny Doesnt want Aqua at Anfield no more...

      Can't see Turan happening and Honda, although a target at one point, looks unlikely. Can't see Aqua staying.

      Great article Dunk as usual. Didn't mention Charlie Adam though? I'm hoping we can get Adam in as I feel he would add something to set-pieces and has a good passing game. You think this can happen?

      Thanks mate. I like Adam but Blackpool are trying it on. There's a long way to go yet but like you I hope we get him.

      Dunk, Rate the chances of each of these players 1-10 please? Asked on a rumour site but thought i'd get the expert opinion. ;) McCarthy, Adam, Dann, A.Johnson, R.Johnson, Mata, Benzema, Aguero, Marveux, Young, Downing, Sturridge, Perotti, Hazard, Gourcuff

      The problem is you can't answer all of them as some depend on missing out on others.

      Liverpool have been linked with alot of forwards lately! But personally, i think we should sign an up and coming talent like Sturridge, who proved at an early age he is capable of playing in the BPL... What are your thoughts? We could buy him for 8-10mil

      He doesn't do much for me mate if I'm honest and I can't see it happening :)

      Hi Dunc, just a quick question about transfers. Reckon you might be sick of answering the 100s that come in but for all I've heard about wingers, midfielders(Young, Downing, Hazard etc) you heard anything about a defender or two? Fullback maybe? Cheers

      Yes we are definitely interested and yes I think he would be a good signing. Shouldn't be expensive either.

      I think he's very good. He was mooted in the past but nothing of late.

      Do you think we'll be in the market for two wingers or one? I'd be disappointed if we only got say Downing, but pleased if we sign him plus one of Hazard/Young/Mata or another of that level. Is there any talk of Alexis Sanchez or is his price tag too big?

      Definitely more than 1 winger. Not heard anything about Sanchez of late.

      We've seen two good prospects given a shot this season, what do you think the chances of Suso, sterling and some of the more attack minded youngsters getting first team football?

      It's all about timing and development. Sterling is the one that I am watching. But he's very small at the present moment.

      I just hope that we get 1 or 2 marquee signings. This summer is huge for us. FSG must show their intent. If they don't spend this summer then they won't spend at all. I just hope we add pace to our squad this summer. However, we need to remain realistic!

      I think we'll do well. I'm totally relaxed mate.

      do u believe there is much chance of signing aguero? adam or parker (if you could pick one) hows the marveux deal looking and hazard - any realistic chance?

      We're sniffing around Aguero but this would be incredibly hard to pull off. Adam. Marveaux just needs signing off. Hazard, difficult again. Outside chance.

      Ive recently read an article that says Eden hazard wants to stay at his own club, yet im always hearing about how its likely we will sighn Jose Enrique, but then i read article,s that say he,s gonna stay at his own club, should i believe articles or not?

      It depends what the source of the article is. It's about trust and credibility. There are few websites I bother reading.
