Right place right time! My old AP GOV teacher's husband is my director. There's a documentary element in the film surrounding a high school marching band, so my director (David Zeiger) was searching for a school. My teacher recommended our school, so simultaneously he looked at the drama company for talent since he still needed to cast the major role of the film. He saw me and picked me out. We started talking, he came to my plays, and the rest is history :) My audition was my performances that he attended. I still don't have my agent and manager set up yet, so I'm basically cutting out the middle man and getting paid in full for this one.
