Oh man, there are so many political issues that are important to me. If I had to chose one--I think it would be the current healthcare crisis. By crisis, I mean the fact that we operate in a system that's completely flawed and controlled by the greedy who could care less about the health of someone who is less fortunate. With this struggling economy--and so many people out of work--it's sad to think that they have to either pay $500 a month for security, or risk losing everything if something bad happens to them. Sickness is terrifying, and our country should actively provide care for those that can't afford it. Oh, and there is a special circle in hell reserved for Insurance salesmen.

I've had so many protocols and philosophical zombie apocalypse scenarios flung at me--I really cannot decide for myself where I will go. Sure, back in 2003 saying you were going to go to a mall and staying there until all of the supplies ran out ... was just fine and dandy. But now thanks to The Philly Zombie Crawl and -oh I don't know - EVERYONE FOLLOWING THE ZOMBIE FAD - that possibility is no more.
I always wanted to hijack a bus from the local school bus lot right by my parent's house. But now I'm in Philadelphia--and not a school bus lot in site. So...I think the best option that I have is to high-tale it to the south where it stays warmer (and where the bodies decay faster) and try to take over a farm. Or work WITH whoever lives there. Ah, who am I kidding? I'm going to show up and just take it over and if they want a fight THEY'LL GET A FIGHT!
And then, well...I would just have to wait with my friends until the next batch of survivors comes into town trying to take over the farm. It'll be a viscous cycle, and let's face it... The Zombie Apocalypse is going to suck. It's going to totally blow. I don't know why everyone is so excited about it. We're all going to turn into zombies eventually.
Come to think of it....I'd rather be a zombie than a survivor. But I want a hot zombie to bite me. Not an ugly one. Ew. -
I'm tired of two things when it comes to Halloween 1) Slutty devil costumes and 2) Costumes that are "ironic" I say that I want to be sexy Daft Punk for Halloween...because it's hilarious....But I feel like I have a duty to wear my zombie makeup and scare the shit out of people on the bus when I'm on my way to a Halloween party. *sigh* I simply don't know what to do!
All in all though, Halloween is scary. Dress like something terrifying or ridiculously dark and evil. It's the only day out of the year when I can truly wear what I want. -
I have actually seriously thought about taking trapeze classes at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts. I worked with someone at The Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride who took classes there. She was ripped and she could spin around suspended only by her neck on the trapeze. It was so amazing! Too bad I'm poor/lazy. I haven't taken a class.

Finally answering this question. If there is anyone that I would want to be it would be Winona Ryder from the years 1988-1990. That way I could be in Beetle Juice and Edward Scissorhands. Not to mention the fact that I'd be screwing Johnny Depp.
