This is a great question. You know, I used to think that the metal scene was going into the tubes like a lot of other people. I heard newer metal bands like Five Finger Death Punch and Trivium, and thought, "this music sucks!" However, the great metal is still there. You just have to dig for it. Bands like Gama Bomb, Opeth, Nightwish, Municipal Waste, Saviours, The Sword, Merciless Death, etc. Even newer popular bands like Winds of Plague and Whitechapel I think are pretty good. What really is going down the tubes is the scene. If you go to a show these days all you see are kids who look exactly the same and want exactly the same things to happen. If the music doesn't have the exact same predictable formula then they hate it. It's rather irritating seeing great bands that like to go outside of the box and do something different get no attention. There...

Yeah, it's nasty. I usually love the cold weather but tonight not so much. I think it's because I was starting to get used to the warmer weather so the cold threw me off.

Marriage is quite the ways away for me. We never know to whom or if it will ever happen. I will tell you one thing though. I love Alyssa Gail Palm with all of my heart and then some. I never want to ever be not with her. If I'm lucky enough to be with her until the day I die, than I consider myself one of the luckiest guys in the world.
