Thanks so much! It seems that I'm not answering this in time for that particular wedding but my best advice to any wedding photographer is just to try to flatter your clients as much as possible. Make them look good and make that your priority over shooting for yourself. No one appreciates a "cool shot" if it's unflattering to them.
