I have one from Wacom. I still need to learn how to use it properly. :)

I used to have a studio but I got rid of it a year ago because I found that I still preferred to work from home so the extra overhead just wasn't worthwhile. Now I have an area in my home where I meet with clients which works great for me. I don't think it's absolutely necessary as a wedding photographer to have a studio...but I think it depends on your individual situation.

Thank you! Since I shoot in RAW, I leave all of the picture style settings at neutral and any adjustments are made later in LR or PS.

I use One Shot most of the time and I always focus on the eyes unless I'm purposefully trying to focus on something else. Getting sharp images while shooting wide open takes some practice. And shooting at F 1.2 isn't always practical. I like to shoot on wide apertures but I'm careful to select the most appropriate settings for what I'm trying to accomplish.

I personally use a projector and portable for my ordering sessions. I can take them to clients' homes and do my presentations literally anywhere. Although I definitely think that a 27" monitor would be preferable to putting images online.

Thanks so much! It seems that I'm not answering this in time for that particular wedding but my best advice to any wedding photographer is just to try to flatter your clients as much as possible. Make them look good and make that your priority over shooting for yourself. No one appreciates a "cool shot" if it's unflattering to them.

The maryjanes I wear to weddings are by Clarks. They are not the cutest shoes ever but they are comfy and supportive and I can wear them with a dress. :)

I use Brooklyn from the Totally Rad Actions set. Love it!

Yes I am. I'm just on a bit of a hiatus during my busy busy wedding season.

Lounging in bed with my dog & husband & laptop watching CBS Sunday Morning...one of my favorite things to do.

Aww, thank you. This must comment must be from my mother. :)

Hi Jamie, so sorry I didn't answer this sooner. You need a permit from the National Park Service to shoot at the monuments in DC. It's easy to maintain and costs about $100 including the application fee.

Thank you Kim, Abby & Zack were SO much fun to photograph. I look forward to meeting you in October!

Thank you! Yes, I am very lucky to have gorgeous clients. :)

Yes, I own action sets from TRA, Kubota, Marcus Bell & Jesh DeRox which I've collected over the years. On a regular basis though I only use about 5 actions on my images.
