I'm not an RPer but this is the only nonspam question in my inbox. And I don't have a very good answer because I'm not familiar with enough actors, but damn it, I do know that if Michael were animated, he'd sound exactly like a slightly deeper-voiced (or monotone/apathetic) Steve Buscemi.

Also, David Dastmalchian is his twin in our dimension: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=en_wf6kVsf4&feature=related When I first noticed him in those Wendy's comercials I was afraid that reality had broken.

This question has taken a lot of consideration, because normally I am more focused on avoiding interaction with people at all costs. But if I had magical consequence-avoidance super powers? I would play with my former art history professor's hair. Oh man, that guy's hair.

The list goes a little something like: Sally, Petya, Remus, Kasper and Edgar. It's rare that I don't have at least one pair of related (as in they-know-each-other-well, not necessarily blood related) characters on my rotating top five list. Sally and Petya's relationship is a never-ending font of inspiration to me. I love them. Remus and Kasper I've been roleplaying on Tegaki-E and they are just 100% candy funtime. I blame the Edgar fixation on a Jean Paul Gaultier book I just picked up at the Goodwill--haute couture and eccentric celebrities always put my mind on Edgar.

I don't know, all of the sparkling might not go over so well (bright lights give Dingo and co. headaches). Although Edgar would probably be delighted--he loves tacky things.

With my own stories and characters: Pairs that are made up of one worldly/jaded/tough character and one childlike/naive/vulnerable one; the concept of sanity and insanity (how they are qualified and the subjectivity of reality); eccentric, uninhibited characters; sibling relationships; the inversion of gender roles/stereotypes; characters who are emotionally tied to each other in spite of seeming incompatible; questionably healthy relationships. Dark circles under eyes.

Books/TV/movies that deal with post-apocalyptic worlds or dystopias are SURE to draw my interest. That is probably the biggest one. Then of course there's gender-bending, strong female characters, feral or not-socially-adjusted characters (think Valentine Michael Smith or Edward Scissorhands). Anything that questions the status quo or the things that we take for granted. Epic adventures.

Dog(s): Australian shepherds, border collies, Italian greyhounds and huskies.
Dinosaur(s): Archaeopteryx (does that count?), procompsognathus and ichthyosaurus. But I'm shamefully ignorant of a lot of awesome dino species.

Set your time machine for Summer 2010 (unless you're waiting for actual PUBLICATION, in which case... who knows.)

It just seems obvious/natural to me to draw myself. I'm the island on which I live. I'm very introverted (to the point sometimes where I wonder if it's high-functioning autism). Self-portraits are a way of working out my problems with myself or questions about myself, psychologically AND physically. I try to be honest in how I portray myself because I don't want to fall for American culture's ideas of what is physically acceptable. As for the stuff with the muses... when I have strong emotions they need OUT, but I am not verbal about my emotions AT ALL. So I put them on paper with all of their feelers and fingers and stormblown hair. Pictures of me with the muse are actually self-portraits in which there are two of me.

I honestly am not sure, but I've tried to figure out some kind of Jungian meaning to it (with no luck--too close to see?). I loved them as a kid and used to collect plastic lizards from one that had nothing but. I just love toys in general, and things that come in interesting packages, and something about those little capsules is just MAGIC to me. I honestly do have quarter machines in my dreams at least a couple of times a week. Usually I am very intent on locating one with The Best Toys Ever.

Thanks! My vampires are all about the different ways that people cope with their issues, and before I'd made Arjay, none of them coped very well. But I am an optimist. I got this idea for a vampire who was really on top of her problems (for someone in that situation), who's been around long enough to have adapted. She's changed since her first incarnation but the essentials are the same: a strong, grounded person who's been dealt a really crappy hand, but has made the best of it.

    13. J. R. Barnes

It might, might, MIGHT be Michael. It is a close contest between him, Edgar, Harlan, Petya and Sally.

On principle I would have to hear their music before I wore it, but since I've loved all of the music you've introduced to me (I assume you're the Migratory one), it's a pretty sure thing that I would. Also, I currently have no band shirts (or smocks)! Except the Eli's Dragon one.

EVER? Oh, man. It depends on what qualifications we are talking about. I will always respect Ren & Stimpy for its sheer acid-trip psychological drama (which I think had a lot of impact on me at a formative age). I loved Batman: The Animated Series for its character writing and stylization. Animaniacs was awesome because of the writing and the MUSIC. Ahhh I am going to be here all day. The Venture Brothers is amazing. And Hey Arnold had really great storylines (I love Helga). Ahhh!

I believe in Good with two Os, and I believe it's in everyone. The closest I come to practicing an organized religion is muse-worship. Spirituality for me is very personal (as in a personal relationship with The Whatever), in part because I just find it difficult to talk about, but also because I base my beliefs on my own (subjective) experiences. In a way, I choose to believe what I want to be true. But I'm very interested in a lot of different religions/spiritual systems, especially Buddhism and Daoism.

Are you a crossdressing asexual Buddhist performance artist vegan guitar player (who funds a lemur reserve and has a summer home in Bali)?
