      Divergent. It's pretty much the only dystopian I have read. And yes, I liked it.

      If you're planning on holding a giveaway of multiple different bookmarks/other swag, would it be unprofessional to send an author an email and ask if they have any bookmarks they'd be willing to give for the giveaway?

      I don't think it would be unprofessional as long as it's understood that an author doesn't always have swag they can send out.

      I read somewhere that Paranormal was your favorite genra so I was wondering what paranormal creature you would love to write about and if gods and goddesses were always the ones you had in mind when you first started writing ?

      Gods and goddesses have always been a fav of mine and they were always wanted I wanted to write about. Vamps would be fun, but I'd only write about them if I could spin it in a way that its fresh

      I don't read a lot of contemporary novels, but Playing Hurt, which isn't very light, is one of my favorites

      Who would you rather choose to be, Alex or Katy?

      Hmm... I don't know. Alex is pretty kick ass and she's like a ninja, so that would be cool, but Katy has it a tad bit easier and there's Daemon, but then there's Seth and Aiden... decisions, decisions.

      Do you have an ideal publisher?

      I have three different publishers now: small, medium, and large. And they're all pretty darn cool.

      Do you have any critique partners? If so, how did you go about finding them?

      Yep. I have a few. I sort of stumbled across them. I don't think you can looking for a crit partner. You sort of just find them.

      How long does it take you to write a first draft?

      Anywhere from 7 days (Obsidian) to about two/three months.

      How many words are your finished manuscripts?

      For a few length novel, the shortest was around 90k and the longest was 118k, which I think is what Onyx is at, roughly. Apollyon will probably a massive tome that you could kill zombies with.

      By far the hardest to write is the one I'm writing now: Apollyon.

      Do you happen to know when Shadows will be released in paperback?

      I don't know to be honest. I know there is plans for a Shadow's paperback release but I haven't gotten any definite answers yet.

      Hi Jennifer Love Obsidian and Shadows - have to ask as its a YA series - but you also write for adults - will there be a sex scene in Onyx - please say Yes! It can be tasteful just so long as you don't fade to black like Stephanie Meyer!

      Haha. All I can say is I don't believe in "fade to black" in YA or Adult.

      I'm so excited for Pure and I was wondering if there will be an excerpt of Book 3 in the finished copy ?

      I believe there is. The 1st edition of print Pure has the beginning of Deity in it.

      Will there be an Deacon and Alex scenes on Pure? Idk why, but as much as I love Aiden and Alex I can't help but wonder about Dalex... xD
