Knowing what you do about learning Japanese now, if you had to do it all over again would you still go down the university route? Why/Why not?

    Probably. I would have loved to have done my whole course in Japan, but having two years of grammar and translation explained bilingually really let me get into the logic of the language earlier.
    As for self study, I don't think I have the discipline.
