Yes, yes I do! I've been planning it all my life, even when I didn't know it (Paleontology, 8-year-old JGV, just so you can draw dinosaurs? Seriously?). Crippled by my fears of failure, I even got persuaded by my concerned parents to seek a career in accounting for two entire years--but after I got an associates degrees in business, I was just too miserable to continue. I took control of my life and decided on studying illustration. Despite the odd jobs I've done that have revolved around graphic design, I would like to work for publishing companies, making children/young adult book illustrations, animating, story-boarding, character designing, and publishing my own personal work (graphic novels).
Many times my dream really seems impossible and that I'll never succeed enough to economically support me (that's all I really need!) and yet I truly don't know what else will make me happy. All I want to do is improve and to continue to enjoy doing it. But I wont let my anxieties get to me. We all have one life to live, why not live it full of meaningful hopes and dreams?

      Excellent question!
It all really depends on the situation. When I'm feeling down I'll have a sweet tea like vanilla almond (black tea), I stay away from putting sugar in my teas. Yogi's St. John's Wort Blue's Away is great too. If I'm going to work for a couple of hours then I'll make a teapot full of it. I find that the tea experience includes the actual pouring of if from a teapot to your cup...it's very satisfying. But I mostly use a glass teapot during breakfast for my english breakfast tea (currently a Scottish blend).
After eating I love to drink green tea (make sure not to boil your water when preparing it because green tea brews with cooler water than black teas.) You know you are drinking a quality green tea when after many minutes it doesn't get bitter in your cup.
I would love to have an actual water dispenser (it uses up less energy) but for the time being I have a glass tea kettle. I bought my mom one too because it boils water quickly, looks great over a stove, and doesn't emit chemicals compared to a metal or, even worse, aluminum kettle.
I have several tea rituals, but the ones I do most is the post-meal green tea and my sweet teas. I drink more tea than glasses of water!
I'm not very adventurous about food (I don't like seafood or most non-organic meats), but I'm always open to try new teas.
Anyways, thanks for the question, I hope it was helpful.
      :)

Eloquence/social gracefulness! I always get so incredibly nervous talking to people, I really wish I wasn't so socially awkward. It's all in the content, delivery and in the timing; an ability that is difficult to master and I certainly don't possess it, haha.
To anyone I've spoken to before: sorry for my rambling messes!

I'm an International Business major so you can guess I can count the times I've taken an art class with half a hand.
I started drawing after watching Sailor Moon when I was 6 years old. I got so frustrated with some episodes that I drew alternate endings, and then SM fanart became a hobby as I collected Sailor Moon coloring books to trace. Eventually, however, I began to develop my own stories with my own characters and drawing them out was the only way to get them out of my head.
Nothing much has changed now, except I keep trying to closer and closer to these pictures connected to these troubled characters. I guess characteristics that make a drawing "good," like recognizable anatomy, non-funky color theory, and wrinkles on dresses, piggybacked along with maturity and too much free time.

Frankly, when I was child the only fairytale-related material I encountered were Disney movies. I loved Little Mermaid. It was not until late middle school and on that I dug into the public libraries in a reading frenzy.
Fairytales that I love now are "Donkey Girl" and "Goose Girl" (especially Shannon Hale's adaptation!) I'm not a fan of tragedies nor the rescue fairytales (like Snow White or Sleeping Beauty). I guess I lean towards girl-power tales, haha.

      Ahhh! I'm so sorry!

I don't really have any legitimate reasons to justify my absence but I have had to move to a new apartment, work on some non-art related projects (like writing a novel "Queen Indeed") and enjoying little pleasures.
But I am working hard to change that!! I've got some pieces lined up to submit regularly soon, no worries. I'm planning to become active again as I soon as I accumulate enough artwork (I'd like to sketch Gaia avatars for ppl soon)
Thank you for your concern! I'll try my best not to disappoint any longer.

It varies on what kind of item I have. For example, my electronics I usually prefer a light/lime green (my laptop and cellphone are) but anything else I seem to obsess over beige and pastel pinks. It's sickening, I know.
Ahhhh the pink: I can't get away form it.
