Besides Mickey Mouse? Actually I got to show around a few famous people when I worked at Disney...Dennis Quaid, Ricky Lake, John Ritter, Usher, Tom Glavin. Also, got to go on the basketball court with David Robinson & Tim Duncan (swoon!). Oh..and I worked a concert for Brooks & Dunn and hung out backstage with them briefly. And, the guy that sang Baby's Got Back..I think Sir Mix a lot and the guy that's left from Milly Vanilly? They're super famous.

Hmmm..I've been to a ton of awesome concerts, but on my 15th birthday there just so happened to be a Tina Turner concert that my mom wanted to go to...so she got me tickets for my birthday. Not really what a 15 year old wants to listen to, but it turned out to be quite a concert...that woman's got legs and energy!

Absolutely! My hobby starting out was landscape photography. I'm in love with national parks, nature, hiking, camping...so being active and traveling helped out a lot in the past 10 years to develop my photographic composition and skills.
In addition to weddings, I do family portraits-including maternity, baby, and children photography, High School Seniors, Pets, Events, and some commercial photography. All of which are viewable on my website: www.JessicaFreyPhotography.com

Not at all! I did a lot of research and made sure that I took all the appropriate steps to set up a legal business in CA. It took a lot of organizing and running around town, but it was actually quite simple (talk to me about taxes in about a month!). I would recommend having some kind of business backgroud (classes or degree) prior to running a full time business. Knowing about your accounting, finances, marketing, management...all very important and time consuming. Use your strengths and learn to delegate weaknesses. Also, I think as women it's incredibly important to take time for yourself and your family.

Initial thought....Don't be timid about approaching photographers and make your judgments based on your own encounters. I've had the privilege the past 6 months to meet a ton of amazing local photographers that I now consider great friends. As long as you approach people with a genuine, honest, up-front attitude I think that can get you places.
Also, my good friend recently started a local photography group for all skill levels called the Shutter Clique. I suggest you look into it and get to know people that way! www.theshutterclique.com

Ideal? I'd have to say a wedding that took place in front of Cinderella's castle at Walt Disney World! And... was designed by David Tutera who now does all the Disney Wedding stuff. Or maybe Bora Bora. or Australia. or Europe. yeah, okay...there's not one answer to this!

Hmm...answering this one in 3 parts:
On a weekly basis? I have to have my sushi
On a regional basis? Texas-food, i.e. Blue bell ice cream, Tex-mex, BBQ
Something I cook? My mom's chicken fried chicken, rice and milk gravy. not good-for you southern yumminess. Now you've made me hungry. Thanks!

      Love this question, thanks!
How about, "Nikon cameras are my favorite":
      Камеры Nikon - мой фаворит!
or, "I love my Nikon camera":
      Я люблю мою камеру Nikon.
      Спасибо! (Thanks!)

I would say I'm a combo :) I've taken graduate level courses, but did not go to school for photography. I did get my degree in Business and I think that's been a huge asset to taking the step from hobby into running a full time photography business. It's a lot of hard work, time, and energy so I recommend creating a business plan and networking with other photographers in your area to get an idea of your target market. Even with the 24hr/day 7 days a week, I absolutely love having my own business and truly enjoy my clients and experiences. Thanks for a great question!

Extrovert, definately! I love meeting new people and even worked at Walt Disney World, so I'd say I'm not shy :)
