Well I'm bowing out [not so gracefully], but your thoughts and Caroline's are interesting to say the least: http://www.formspring.me/CarolinePierce/q/214215682785572857

"Caroline Pierce (born September 12, 1974) is an American hardcore pornstar known for her large buttocks."

So this woman makes money for a physical attribute and will die only known for said physical attribute. That is sad and obviously objectifying. She is also a hardcore porn star meaning that she is routinely subjected to all kinds of horrendous misogyny i.e. cum shots on the face. Lovely!

Well I see sumone had the same question I had. Now u porn stars can make it out to be different all u want but escorting and porn are still prostitution cuz ur having sex for $$$ and if u choose not to escort. For safety reasons. Have a body guard

Did you even READ my answer to that?

Here's a link to it, and I also posted the whole thing on here, just for your perusal.

I NEVER said I was not a sex worker. Of course I am. But a stripper is not the same as a porn star which is not the same as an escort which is not the same as a streetwalker which is not the same as a Dominatrix which is not the same as a Hustler model posing with a male model, etc etc. Of *course* there they all have a lot in common, but they aren't the exact same thing.
I'm not an escort or Dominatrix because I have ZERO interest in dealing with people (i.e. strangers) on a personal level like that.

You're blanketing ALL sex work together when there are differences between them.

Would you say a pizza cook and a pastry chef are the exact same thing? No, but they both cook. Would you call a make-up artist and a hair dresser the same thing? No, but they both work on people's appearances. Would you call a kindergarten teacher and a biochemical engineering teacher the same thing? No, but both are teachers.

To quote the end of my previous answer : "I have no problems with hookers, escorts, call girls, hustlers, private dancers, personal masseur, courtesans or whatever other term you want to use for a sex worker. I'm a sex worker too. But that doesn't mean all our work is identical."

      Q:
can u tell me in your opinion what the difference is between porn and escorting? i just dont get why u would be willng to do stuff for the whole WORLD to see and then not escort in private. what is it about escorting that you have issues with, i'm curious

      A:
It astounds me that so many people can't see the difference between shooting a porn seen and escorting.

Porn is sex on film for entertainment. It's a performance. There is a set time & place, there's STD testing and it happens in a safe environment where at the end of the day everyone just goes home. I've probably heard of whoever it is I am having sex with (if I don't already know them), and there's usually a general camaraderie amongst the performers.

Escorting is catering to an unknown individual's needs, desires, and ego, often time fulfilling a specific role and fantasy. If there's sex it's about getting someone off, mentally as well as physically.

Safe environment is another factor. A HUGE factor. Sure some porn sets can seem a bit dicey, but so can some 7-11's people work in. But escorting is a whole other ball park when it comes to taking risks for personal safety that I'm not at all interested in.

Then there's the johns themselves. I personally have no desire to play whatever part someone I know nothing about has in mind for me. There SO MUCH involved and maybe and what-if's, yadda yadda yadda. I just don't want to interact with people in that capacity.

Yes, porn is a form of prostitution in the sex-for-money sense. Duh lol. And yes, that does literally make me a whore. No news there. Yes, my sex is for sale, only in the conditions that I am comfortable which are: with established porn companies working with professional adult performers creating a product. (or if you show up to my house with a brand new car.. I am damned sure willing to barter for a friggin car lol)

I have zero problems with prostitution. I think it should be legalized and regulated like any other industry. I'm from Nevada, brothels have always been legal in this state with the exception of a few counties. I'm all for brothels, and if I were to prostitute in the traditional sense that's how I'd do it. I believe I've already stated that.

I have no problems with hookers, escorts, call girls, hustlers, private dancers, personal masseur, courtesans or whatever other term you want to use for a sex worker. I'm a sex worker too. But that doesn't mean all our work is identical.

We already know what a good day looks like to Ice-Cube. How about you?

Wake up on Saturday morning after partying all night on Friday and realize I have nothing I need to write nor do I have a hangover. In fact, I only get out of bed because there's a text from my best girl and she is ready for serious brunch. We take brunch very seriously here. I throw on whatever and I meet up with her and there's like serious eggs and bacon and I drink like three bloody marys. We go back to her house and we Netflix Law and Order and I take a drunk nap with her dog while she does errands because she actually uses her weekends to get things done while I use them to be a total degenerate.

Then it turns out more than one band I like is playing at a DIY venue I love nearby so I go home and get seriously dressed up and after a survey of text messages I realize a high volume of people I like are actually going to this show. People come over my house and I make cocktails and I play records and we all walk there together. The bands are good, there are cute people there, I get introduced to someone I've always wanted to meet because they play music or make games or write and we have tons of loud conversation until we decide we're hungry.

Then taco truck, 2 AM gigantic burrito

I'm leaving out some details but it's probably not too different from Ice Cube's day, including the police rolling right past me and me unhesitatingly being dubbed the 'top gun'
