I think, at a family restaurant, it's inevitable. BUT, the parent should not ignore the child and let them tantrum. They should take the child to a private, quiet place to let them have their blowout and to talk about it afterwards. If it can't be solved, leave. AND that's not even with accommodating the other customers in mind, just the child that's having the hard time.

Yes, I think it's wonderful, and I feel a lot of people are extremely uneducated about what it's about and what we do. The media (Dr Phil in particular) makes us look like a bunch of needy, leachy hovering parents who breastfeed our kids until they're 15 and let them get away with anything they want lol.
