A cookie came to be because of Sesame Street. Elmo came across an over cooked brownie in the shape of a circle, then cookie monster came along (his name was actually brownie monster first) and took a bite out of it. He hated it so he took it home to put more ingredients into it cause he went to a professional 'just in case a brownie over cooked college' so when he was done finishing up with the 'brownie' he took a bite and called it 'kookie', he didnt like the spelling so changed it to koockie..When he showed it to his college the loveeeeed it but changed a couple ingredients and called it the banana, but realized something was already called the banana so changed it to poog. So they all went to a restaurant named Bamboo Grill in Bergenfield, nj (i highly recommend you look it up cause mah cousins own it) and then they noticed that chocolate chips NEEDED to be in there so since it was an Asian restaurant they called it the chocolate oriental of kool intelligent ersons(with a p) Since it was too long they changed it to cookie. :) *THE END*
