I didn't even know he was dead. I'll wager 5 bucks he doesn't stay that way very long.

Either way, though, our continuity is separate from the comic books' universe, so we're still clear to use him. In fact, our production schedule is so long that we wouldn't even have time to change any of our plans for Jaime in response to his comic book death. Additionally, here are two little bits of info that may reassure you -

First, a quote from Geoff Johns's twitter feed (http://twitter.com/GeoffJohns0/status/16084074783) -
"Blue Beetle's going to appear in most of the Brave and the Bold's this year..."

That's from way back in June 13th, when we were about halfway through the third season. It's not as true today as when he said it (I think Jaime is now in slightly less than half of season 3), but he does appear quite a bit.

Second, here's a partial list of characters that appear semi-regularly in our show that have died in the comic books since we started - the Atom (Ryan Choi), Martian Manhunter, Aquaman... and Batman.
