Finally, a real question! :) It is a real story. Sadly, no, I don't know what happened to her. We moved out of Seoul shortly after. I kept thinking about her and got scared. I hope she's okay, but in Korea, news stories like these come up once in a while. There were two incidents in the past few years. One was about an old man who lived as a slave for 20 years. The other was about 2 kids who were a house slave for 8 years. They are very rare cases but with a lack of social security (that was a bit of a overstatement. Actually there are social security, but there simply are too many people in Korea for it to sustain everyone), some live in desperate conditions.

I'd rather burn with my material possessions than abandoning them.

I'm from the great white North. I crossed Ap-lok river with my bare hands and escaped to China. Then fled to Canada. It was epic. Ask me in person sometime, I'll tell you all about it.

Every hundred year, I hover over Eyjafjallajokull and throw in a virgin for sacrifice.

My mom's friends looked up Chinese-Korean dictionary and randomly selected letters until it sounded pretty and sort of meaningful. I didn't have a name until I was old enough to walk.

I'll be making them very soon. I hope there is a market for it. I wonder why blueberry coagulates when blended. Wonders of nature.

What kind of evil twisted, sad example of human being hates Kim Yu Na? Me. She's the symbol of petty Korean nationalism. YES, I'm jealous.

"Year of Floods" by Margaret Atwood. I am still deciding how I feel about it. Please do wait for my review on my blog... the review might never happen though. I've been putting off starting my review blog (which I named "Hyein's Bad Taste") for over a year.

I cannot answer that. I rather not publicly criticize other people's craft. Also I cannot remember people's names. But I can tell you who's underrated. Please somebody ask me that!
